Trump: "It'll start getting cooler. You just watch."
"I wish science agreed with you."
Trump: "I don’t think science knows, actually."

Can the media please stop saying that “people don’t want Biden?” He literally won New Hampshire by 30 points yesterday & got more votes than any presidential candidate in history in 2020. We do want President Biden & to suggest otherwise is deeply insulting & a lie.

Exciting news from the LIVE-#HCM study at #ACC23. Kudos to @sday_hcm, Dr. Lampert@Yale and Michael J. Ackerman MD,PhD for bringing hope for a more normal and vigorous life to HCM patients !
From its conception by @sday_hcm, Dr. Lampert @Yale, & me 10 yrs ago, the first results of LIVE-#HCM have been just released #ACC23. There was NO signal of increased risk among the 699 patients doing vigorous #exercise compared to the 961 who were less active!
via @NYTimes A fine tribute to Dr. Audrey Evans, whom I had the privilege of meeting once. At the age of 75, she still preferred to take the stairs rather than the elevator and I struggled to keep up with her! nytimes.com/2022/09/30/healt…
Bohemian rhapsody for postdocs:
Is this a real job?
Or more like a PhD?
Caught in short contracts
No chance of stability
Open your eyes
Look up to PIs and see
I'm just a postdoc
I get no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go
Stress is high
Pay is low
It’s time this loud and sometimes angry #womeninstemm threw in her 2 cents to the @NHMRC investigator grant gender equity discussion. First, it’s bloody brilliant the data has been analysed, modelled and some BIG options put forward. High five to everyone who helped do that /1
