You want the young officer to sacrifice his life for the love of the Nation, but you don’t want him to express his love for his fiancée. In the Army we say ‘Youngster nahi karega, toh kaun karega’. If you can not find a fault in his professional capabilities, don’t do this nuktachini for such a pure gesture of love and belonging. Military equipment has been on display during many ‘Know your Army’ exhibitions around the country. The students and non military personnel have clicked pics with it showing pride and love for the Army. So, please don’t bring in the national security angle into this. Let the young soldier do his national duty with pride and honour 👍 Jai Hind 🇮🇳

#delhigymkhana Right step by GoI. Now transform it into public utility place like China did to Peoples Park in Shanghai, it was a race track before, now a public place with park, museums & more. Elite of the elite be damned

My son Vismay Patel got 99.59 percentile (Rank 6533) in JEE Mains 2026. We hold a valid EWS cert, but the portal won't let us update our category. We need a correction window. @NTA_Exams @EduMinOfIndia @PMOIndia @dpradhanbjp 1/3 #JEEAdvanced2026

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal. Respectfully Sridhar Vembu

In a bear market, buy fundamentally strong stocks at all time lows. In a bull market, focus less on fundamentals and buy stocks with technical breakouts at all time highs. #Investing

India PMI trending lower . Indian Rupee depreciating fast, worst performing major currency in the war time and YTD. These two are very strong indicators of a market bottom getting formed. Not yet but coming. Very tough to catch the absolute bottom. But markets lowest point will be months before the economy's lowest point in that particular cycle. Not formed yet. The only time this did not work was during the Dot Com crash. Markets took much longer than the economy to bottom out. All other instances from 1929 to GFC to Covid, markets rushed to form a bottom even as the economic news was still in a steep decline. More trouble ahead for markets given there is no easy way out to restore oil and gas supplies, to reduce the impact of energy prices on aggregate demand and the economy. Big disaster still in the making despite all that politicians are now scrambling to do. India should manage to avoid an outright recession but a slow down itself is a very bitter pill for our teeming middle and lower middle income groups. The global economy could see a full blown recession. Markets will bottom much before the economic trouble plateaus and the cycle turns positive .

India has scripted history. Biochemistry, the crème de la crème of the sciences, whose discoveries are adorned with 56 Nobel Prizes, whose portals are illuminated by Indian giants like Khorana and Subbarow, has today officially welcomed a student who scored minus 8 out of 800.

I agree with much of the piece and it's very well articulated. The whole AI space is too risky for value investors like me. There is a better way to invest in this bubble, though, without compromising on the definition of what's an investment as per Ben Graham (safety of principal plus an adequate return). The same old idea of selling shovels to gold diggers applies. That way is via energy.

This is a fantastic piece. Actually everybody in western world should read that … (you can disagree) because majority of your public equity/ private equity investments are invested in this theme .. through your wealth manager. Even if you disagree .. you will be able to ask better questions and think better.. afterall it is your hard earned money right? pracap.com/global-crossing-r…
