Reports are emerging that the man who was brutally attacked and thrown against a signpost has sadly died.
Footage circulating online appears to show a police officer forcefully pushing him into a signpost, and many people are now demanding answers about exactly what happened.
If these reports are accurate, there must be a full and transparent investigation.
Public trust depends on the same standards being applied to everyone, including those in positions of authority.
