While we sadly have to take a Crip Time-Out to recover, build capacity & resources for our next festival in July 2027, we thank our wonderful community for years of support and wish you a Happy Disability Pride Month 2025! We’ll celebrate together again soon❤️💛🤍💙💚🖤⚡️

We held a press event today to call on all those people living with a Disabilty and those caring to vote @catherinegalway no.1 in the upcoming presidential election. Her support has been unwavering as opposed to a candidate who looks at us as a financial burden. Vote Connolly No.1 #disabilitytwitter #Disability #Not #A #Burden
'Heather Humphreys's presidential candidacy is clear confirmation that the government does not value nor hear its disabled citizens,' said one disability activist. 'Margaret Thatcher light,' said another. ontheditch.com/government-do…

Then get him or someone on his behalf to call @sinnfeinireland HQ in the morning, please. This is a dreadful matter.

One of our members has been made homeless, with his power chair and belongings thrown out. He is unable to register as homeless or for emergency accommodation. Help needed urgently, please share
One of our members, Savas, came home to find all his stuff thrown out, incl. his powerchair: his supposed landlord was illegally subletting. He is now homeless but nowhere will register him as homeless for emergency accommodation as he has a migrant Stamp 2... (1/2)

The loop of referrals has been fruitless with DCC, Focus, Simon, MRCI, etc. He is staying in a private hostel using the last of his savings. If anyone can help with advice or political representation please share and let us know (2/2) @AccessForAll7 @TomClonan @CatuIreland

We can't wait to hear our hero Sophia give her own TED talk in just a few days! We're so proud of this mighty legend! ❤️🫀
We are so excited to share this! Our very own powerhouse Sophia will be giving her very first ever #TEDX youth talk this May 13th. She’s the youngest speaker to speak at this wonderful Clonturk organised event and over the past 5 months has been busy with her team preparing for her talk. She’s not giving much away but she says her speech will focus on inclusion, acceptance, diversity and how women lead in some of the biggest movements of our times. We can’t wait to hear it. ❤️ @TEDx @NWCI @InclusionIre @DisabilityFed @centralremedial @ailbhes @bridsmithTD @ivanabacik @TheSineadBurke @HollyCairnsTD @clonturkcc @DCU @christymoore45 @LeCheileDND @MaryLouMcDonald @NormaFoleyTD1 @HMcEntee @DisabilityFed @_DPIreland @InclusionIre @DCU @SarahAMcInerney

In skerries . The library being redone while keeping the historical aspect but making it accessible. Can this not be done to all buildings? @AccessForAll7 @_DPIreland @BarryHeneghan2 @CMDIRL @TomClonan @rtenews

Well that was a mad busy year! So much achieved, so much fighting done, so much more to do. Sophia, her Dad and Sean have been non stop but many others have been too. We have built a mighty community of activists fighting for our human rights. This is but a short insight into last years activism. The rest was very much needed and we will be getting back to it in the new year in the meantime thanks to everyone for all the support over the past 6yrs and the fight goes on!!!!! We deadicate this to Granny Mulvany. A year gone yesterday we miss her so much! ❤️ @adayinmywheels @TomClonan @DisabilityFed @_DPIreland @NeuroPrideIRL @InclusionIre @IrishWheelchair @TheNewReview2 @MaryLouMcDonald @RBoydBarrett @susdennehy @emmawardjourno @liamcunningham1 @centralremedial @LeCheileDND @mulvanypeopleb1 @niamhnih @UnaKeightley @Stephen63224725 @AilbheConneely @PresidentIRL @Trickstersworld @hopkins_joan @samanthaofl @struggleiswheel If we missed you sorry, we could only add so much!!!! ♿️♿️♿️♿️
