A "good death" is an often forgotten goal of clinical medicine. 90 patient with Stage 5 CKD, Patient with metastasized tumour with no proper Rx options, Patients with advanced CLD with severe delirium and no realistic shot at a transplant - these are pts forgotten by the system.

In 1983, one man had 10 minutes to decide the fate of the world. Stanislav Petrov sat at his console as alarms blared: 5 U.S. nuclear missiles were "en route" to Russia. He had two choices: launch a counterstrike or trust his gut. What he did next saved humanity. Here's how...

The Titanic didn’t sink the way you think. The story isn’t just about an iceberg—it’s about human error, ignored warnings, and catastrophic decisions. Here’s the truth about what really sank the ‘unsinkable’ ship:

You see, moral erosion isn’t a grand conspiracy cooked up in smoky boardrooms with evil laughter in the background. It’s more like a slow leak. Companies don’t jump straight into bad behavior; they stumble into it. It’s not about what they actively do—it’s about what they let happen.

Golden words to remember while handling health data as well
The problem in consumer internet is that users get dehumanized. To the spreadsheet jockeys, the user isn’t a person—it’s a subscription ID in an MIS report with an LTV, CAC, and a churn probability. But in reality, the “user” is a tired old man trying to call his son

Can one be a good data analyst without being a half-good programmer? The short answer to that is, ‘No.’ The long answer to that is, ‘No.’ — Frank Harrell, 1999 S-PLUS User Conference, New Orleans (October 1999)

This has to be one of the most beautiful illustrations of data science Clear Problem Statement : The need to pick up passengers. Easy accessible tools. Thorough understanding of the context Data is only as good as the interpretation and application!
Just now, I was truly impressed by my cab driver’s savvy use of data during our ride. As we entered MAA, he began tracking the incoming flights on @flightradar24. Intrigued, I couldn’t resist asking what he was up to. With a grin, he explained that he waits at the airport only if four or more flights are landing or have just landed. Any less than that, and he’s off! The catch? Those four flights have to be domestic. He said that passengers from international flights prefer prepaid cabs and not any of the app services. Seeing how he leveraged data to make smart decisions in his day-to-day work was fascinating!

Progressive health policy of any nation would see "physical therapy" as future and provide a seperate framework to develop it above all non scientific means and methods, alongside evidence based modern medicine. Trapping it in chaos won't help @PMOIndia @MoHFW_INDIA
@KirenRijiju @ShashiTharoor @narendramodi India must use Physio practitioners as resource for cost effective preventive healthcare. Encourage First Contact Practice. Introduce DPT. Present PTs as exercise prescription experts. If we can't, better to discontinue future PT education

Time is wasted in either not doing or doing improperly designed exercise from charts for back pain, sciatic pain, piriformis, IT Band or Hamstring pain Consulting a physiotherapist for exercise prescription early is not the norm because even within healthcare awareness is limited

For everyone saying how great healthcare in parts of India can be because of how quickly one can see a doctor. Gentle Reminder that one must compare Govt Systems with Govt Systems? And not NHS with Indian Private?

The @bhash, @kunalkamra88 saga is just another reminder of how much substandard crap gets ignored in India in the name of nation, culture and nationalism. So much corruption, societal ills, infra failures and absolute fraud hides in plain sight in India. Quite extraordinary!
