I love how everyone's immediate response to a support for Parandur is "you have bought land there, so you're crying. DMK bought land there, so you're crying".
Parandur was chosen after multiple feasible studies.
Parandur was not chosen under DMK govt but AIDMK. DMK knew its importance and continued with the project.
If you're scrapping a greenfield airport for your vested interest, then finalise an alternative and then do so. This "we will stop first and then figure later" attitude will take us back by decades.
