Oduk ni mbwa tu. He texted me wanting to connect me to a lady in the diaspora and I said no, because they sponsor one and send money to keep protesting. He kept insisting because he was getting paid and I refused. He came to me because of the engagement and relevance ya “kupepeta” because he’s getting paid. I refused. This was the comvo before that screenshot.

Organizations such @thekhrc were born in Washington DC.
The Constitution of Kenya recognizes the Diaspora as a constituency.
Many great sons and daughters of Kenya are in the Diaspora for many reasons including due to threats against their lives.
Diaspora remittances are a central safety net in a country that has no credible social welfare policies.
They create employment at home from the investments.

Article 25 of the Constitution on the right to fair hearing is sacrosanct.
The High Court found that Honorable @rigathi was not given a fair hearing in the impeachment process.
In my view, after that finding, the proper and inevitable conclusion was to annul that impeachment.

Kenya’s judiciary is the most tested in our region. We tested it when CJ Maraga nullified the Presidential elections, it was tested again when it definitely upheld Governor Sonko’s impeachment and it is on trial today regarding Rigathi Gachagua’s impeachment.
