Husband made a blanket fort, and he's currently in there with the 1 and 2 year old boys. I'm informed I'm not allowed in "cause you don't have a weiner."

Dilated to a 1, but contractions stopped, and we're back to intermittent cramping. Everything looks fine, so we're going home to sleep comfy, and we'll see what happens in the next few days.
It's contractions now. Tracked 8 in the past hour. Not particularly painful. But Jon is on his way home.

It’s not so much “oh you want sex all the time! You horny pig!” Women love male horniness. They just despise male neediness. They recoil when your sexual touch has “mommy feed me” energy.
Wives start to recoil from their husband's touch when the only reason he touches her is because he wants to fuck her, FYI.

Been crampy (back and belly, nearly constant) since noon. I've just been in bed, hydrating, waiting for it to either stop or escalate into actual contractions or anything to justify calling my husband home from his 24. The boys are thankfully with my in-laws. 33 weeks.

My mom and my grandma are telling me that Elon is now a trillionaire like he's a good personal friend of mine here on X dot com, offering him their congratulations with me as a liaison. Great work, bestie. You did it! 🚀

This is what would have happened to Charlie's grave and worse if Candace had her way. She truly hated him.

A man working as a welder at SpaceX for $28 an hour has just become a millionaire. Juan Hernandez, who came from Mexico, welded rockets for SpaceX at $28 an hour. SpaceX gave him $10,000 in stock when he went full time in 2015, and he bought more with every paycheck for 10 years. $SPCX is now trading at $167, making his shares worth over $1 million.

The government could confiscate every penny of Elon’s wealth and it wouldn’t even cover ONE YEAR of interest payments on the national debt. I don’t want to hear whining about the wealthy from politicians who waste trillions of our tax dollars every year.

I don't care that an immensely productive private citizen has made 1 trillion dollars. I do care the the US is nearly 40 trillion in debt. Taxing Elon more isn't going to begin to fix that.

My difficult, life-threatening (at the end) pregnancies have made me MORE pro-life. I've spent a lot of time looking at pictures and stories of preemies, statistics of survival, which body systems are ready in which weeks. Closely monitoring my babies' growth and wellbeing in utero. Rooting for them. It's been: how long can WE keep going? Will WE be ok? Me and each of my babies have been in these fights for life and health TOGETHER. That people kill their children for any reason has become more unfathomable to me with each pregnancy.

33 weeks today. This is when Gideon was born, tiny but ok. My body just remembers horror though. I want to skip this week.

The peer review system built to catch bad science has been captured by ideologues. Dissenting letters get ghosted, buried, or routed back to the same reviewers who approved the original paper. Courts cite the published consensus. Kids get damaging, irreversible procedures based on pseudoscience that was never seriously challenged — because the challenge was never allowed to be published. Colin Wright (@swipewright) didn't opt out. He walked into a $1.8 billion institution and built the correction mechanism it refused to build itself: a first-of-its-kind post-publication peer review system inside one of the largest scientific publishers on earth. One that strips the veto from ideologues, forces debate into the open, and gives the truth somewhere to land. That's how you stop bad science from becoming bad law. That's how the marketplace of ideas gets its immune system back. It’s the kind of reform that builds the future instead of burning it down: youtube.com/watch?is=lTcakOC…

Friendly reminder that, despite Charlie Kirk airing criticisms of Israel, hosting fiery debates on the topic, pushing back against overuse of the term antisemitism and opposing war with Iran, he was still treated like trash by the dissident "right" until his final days on earth.

The other day, I took my daughter to a small birthday party at an indoor gymnastics gym. While the kids were running around, I looked up and was shocked to see Ben Shapiro climbing the gym rope and jumping on the trampolines with his own daughter. You can disagree with the guy all you want but watching him in real life, just being a normal, present dad fully engaged with his little girl, told me everything I needed to know. He seemed like a solid, decent dude. It was a good reminder that the internet isn’t real life.

I actually love listening to people speak earnestly about boring things, especially when it's a central aspect of their lives. The exception is when it's an antisocial obsession, and the person has no personality or willingness to connect outside it.

If you meet one of these in real life, they're probably firefighters. Mustaches are the only facial hair they can have within regulation (because SCBAs), so there's a culture of mustaches in fire departments.
