The
#NepaliGang Committed Theft in Hill Ridge Villas,
#Gachibowli ,
#Hyderabad , Arrested by Cyberabad Police in Uttar Pradesh, the entire stolen property around 8 kg
#gold and
#silver ornaments were recovered from the
#Nepali Domestic Workers.
On 06.06.2026, a Nepali couple committed a theft in a villa located in
#HillRidgeVillas, Gachibowli, Serilingampally, Ranga Reddy District, during the absence of the occupants.
The elderly couple residing in the villa returned home on the evening of 07.06.2026 and noticed that a gold chain adorning a small idol was missing.
Based on their complaint, a case was registered and investigation was taken up.
On the evening of 08.06.2026, their son returned home and opened a locker using a key available with him. Upon inspection, it was found that approximately 7–8 kilograms of gold ornaments and about 1.5 kilograms of silver ornaments were missing from the locker.
Upon receiving this information, the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, immediately pressed the Special Operations Team (SOT), Crime Teams, and local police into action. Multiple teams worked on all available leads and successfully tracked the movement of the accused.
Six police teams were dispatched to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttarakhand.
Details and photographs of the suspects were shared with the respective State Police authorities, and their assistance was sought.
The special team constituted under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, for tracking Nepali criminal gangs also extended its support in the investigation.
On 09.06.2026, the Inspector of Police, Gachibowli, P. Naresh, along with his team, successfully apprehended 3 accused persons on Bilaspur Road in Rampur District, Uttar Pradesh. The entire stolen property was recovered intact.
The arrested accused have been identified as
1) Kamal Shahi (32), resident of Nepal.
2) Vimla Shahi @ BimalaShahi, w/o Kamal Shahi, resident of Nepal.
3) Kalpana Shahi (26) resident of Nepal.
The accused main MO is to targeted the High professional persons in High living villas and joined in their house by domestic employees and take opportunity and in the absence of inmates they broke open the house doors and lockers and committed theft of gold, cash and other valuable items.
The absconding accused Suresh alias Suraj, a native of Nepal, brings persons from Nepal to Hyderabad and places them as domestic workers in expensive villas and houses. He gathers information through the workers he has placed regarding the times when no family members are present inside the house, and then commits thefts based on that information.
Similarly, in the present offence, with the assistance of Karan Bishwa Karma, Suresh alias Suraj placed domestic workers in Villa No. 73, Hill Ridge Villas, and committed theft in the said house.

•Silver items 1361 grams (appx)
•Cash ₹33,170/-
•2 Mobile phones
The accused are being produced before the local court, and efforts are being made to bring them to Hyderabad on a transit warrant.
During interrogation, the accused confessed that they had located the locker key kept beside the locker, opened it, removed all the jewellery, relocked the locker, and took away the key before fleeing.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh, IPS, appreciated the police officers and staff who played a key role in the swift detection of the major theft case reported at Hill Ridge Villas and in the complete recovery of the stolen property. He stated that the coordinated efforts of the special teams, crime teams, technical staff, and local police led to the successful detection of the case within a short span of time.
In recognition of their outstanding work in apprehending the accused and recovering the entire stolen property, the Commissioner announced cash rewards for the police personnel involved in the investigation.
