Michael Gove - editor of the Spectator, Orwell Prize judge & overseer of the biggest electoral fraud in modern UK history - apparently upset that I called out his boss’s investment in Palantir after he ran a sycophantic pro-Palantir piece
While I do accept that @carolecadwalla does know something about journalists harming their own reputations, the idea that she can sit in judgment on @TrevorPTweets is risible - it’s like Erich von Daniken dissing Niels Bohr

And of course she's right.
Caroline Lucas: "We need to recognise that what happened on the streets of Belfast was being orchestrated by the far right, by Elon Musk, by a network of people who actually want this to happen, so it wasn't quite as spontaneous as it looked.. and that has to be stopped"

Netanyahu asks Lebanese if they remember the days when Lebanon was called the “Pearl of the Middle East.” We do. We also remember who invaded Lebanon in 1982, besieged Beirut, occupied the south for nearly two decades, bombed our cities, carried out massacres, assassinations & repeated wars. Interesting how Hezbollah is blamed for everything, including Lebanon’s decline, while the Israeli invasion, occupation & destruction that predated Hezbollah’s very existence are simply erased from the story. Hezbollah did not invade Lebanon. Israel did. Hezbollah did not create the occupation. Hezbollah emerged because of it. You also speak as though Hezbollah is not Lebanese. Whether one supports it or opposes it, Hezbollah represents a significant segment of Lebanese society. It has MPs in parliament, ministers in government, & a constituency that cannot simply be wished out of existence. Millions of Lebanese cannot be erased because that makes for a more convenient Israeli political narrative. The arrogance of telling Lebanese to “free themselves” from other Lebanese while Israeli forces occupy Lebanese territory & Israeli aircraft violate Lebanese airspace daily is difficult to miss. You speak as though Lebanon’s problems began with Hezbollah & Iran. That is historically illiterate at best & deliberately dishonest at worst. Lebanon has suffered from corruption, sectarianism, foreign intervention & political failure. But it has also endured repeated Israeli invasions, occupations, bombardments, assassinations & wars long before Hezbollah became a major force. And now the man whose military has spent months bombing Lebanese towns, flattening homes, killing civilians, displacing entire communities & threatening the country with “another Gaza” wants to present himself as a concerned friend of the Lebanese people. The audacity is staggering. It would be impressive were it not so grotesque. The historical revisionism is even worse. You must be getting desperate if this is the story you are trying to sell.

Spare us the civilisational lectures, you charlatan. Atatiana Jefferson, 2019. Shot dead through her bedroom window during a welfare check. Playing video games with her eight-year-old nephew. The officer never identified himself. Botham Jean, 2018. Shot dead eating ice cream in his own apartment by an off-duty officer who "thought it was her apartment". John Albers, 2018. Seventeen years old. His friends called police because he was suicidal. Officers killed him during the welfare check. Parkland, 2018. Seventeen children and staff massacred in their school. The armed officer paid to protect them? Hid outside. Shajarah Tayyebeh Elementary School, Minab, February 2026. At least 175 dead, most of them girls aged 7 to 12. NYT analysis and US military investigators believe American forces struck the school. Trump blamed Iran without evidence. US Senators are still waiting for answers. In 2025, American police killed 1,201 people. 98 unarmed. 233 school shootings at K-12 schools. American children do active shooter drills in primary school. American families are afraid to call for welfare checks because officers shoot the people they're sent to help. Henry Nowak's father said: "We do not want Henry's murder to be used to create further hatred, division or tension". You used it anyway, to lecture a country 3,000 miles away while your administration bombs schoolgirls and your officers shoot people through bedroom windows. The UK's government has plenty to answer for. But we don't take civilisational lectures from those who run a country that can't keep its children alive in their own classrooms and in their own homes and bomb children in far away lands, you pathetic charlatan.
Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit. His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it. Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won’t be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response—the only response—is righteous anger. One of the most important things the Trump administration has proven to the world is that stopping the flow of mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will and leadership. Anything else is an excuse. It is because we love the West that we want to preserve it. We love our civilization. We love our country. We love our children. And nobody—nobody—should ever die the way that Henry Nowak died. May God comfort those who loved him, and may God rest his soul.

A few weeks ago, our UK media and Nigel Farage were clamouring to 'Get Starmer Out'. Remember that? They were using it as their slogan for Matt GPT's disastrous by-election campaign. They claimed that it was a 'referendum on Starmer's leadership'. It didn't quite go to plan. Starmer outplayed them all on that occasion. Here's something that we need to remember though, when JD Vance came to the UK in July of 2025, he held a series of meetings in the Cotswolds with some British politicians. Nigel Farage. Robert Jenrick [Tory then, Reform now]. Danny Kruger [Tory then, Reform now]. James Orr [Tory then, Reform now]. Donald Trump is a destabilising force, but I don't really think he knows why. 😵‍💫 JD Vance is far more malign. He is wrapped, head-to-toe, in the Christian Nationalism/Project 2025 movement that Farage et al. are desperately trying to bring to our shores. Reform will lose the Makerfield by-election, they picked a lame, three-legged donkey to run the Grand National. But they started this campaign the same as the last 'Get Starmer Out', before suddenly dropping it as the realisation dawned. OK, this has gone a bit higgledy-piggledy, so what I'm trying to get to, is that any intervention by JD Vance in UK politics, is likely at the behest of Nigel Farage. Farage is desperate, clawing at the floor while the daemon of scrutiny drags him backwards to the pitch dark basement of obscurity. His only possible hope of survival is an early General Election, and to have that happen, he needs Starmer on the ropes. Cue, JD Vance with a targetted intervention about: migrants ✅ elites ✅ inciting anger ✅ Henry Nowak ✅ death of our civilization [sic] ✅ A tirade worthy of only one man … Nigel Farage. The man who has sought to weaponise this tragedy and incited rioting only five days ago. The man who has gone against Henry's father's own wish that the tragedy should not be used as a weapon of hatred. Nigel Farage is a dangerous force with the backing of, probably, the next President of the USA. Both are trying to destabilise and turn our societies into fascist visions of the far-right. Don't let them. Have a lovely weekend. 😊

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began. The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start. Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have. If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.

This will ruin your day, perhaps your summer, or even the rest of your life. But you need to listen to it. You need to know the crimes that are done in your name and with your tax money. A British surgeon in Gaza testifies that Israeli soldiers used Palestinian children as target practice. One day, they would shoot the children in the testicles, and on other days, in their necks. They were practicing their shooting on children.

Sam Altman just revealed he put his ENTIRE liquid net worth into one company to reverse aging. The company is called Retro Biosciences. He put $180 million of his own money as the seed round. Then he came back for a $1 billion Series A. The company is now valued at $5 billion. Here's what they're building: Retro is working on something called partial cellular reprogramming. The basic idea is that your cells can be rewound to a younger state without turning them all the way back into stem cells. You stay you, but your biology gets younger. Most diseases are diseases of age. 20yo rarely get sick the way 80yo do. So instead of fighting cancer, Alzheimer's, and heart disease one by one, what if you just made the cells younger so those diseases never develop in the first place? That's the bet. One solution that cuts through EVERYTHING. And here's where AI enters the picture: OpenAI built a specialized model called GPT-4b micro specifically for Retro's research. They used it to redesign the proteins responsible for turning adult cells back into stem cells, a technique that won the Nobel Prize when it was first discovered. The original method was painfully slow. Worked on fewer than 1 in 1,000 cells. OpenAI's AI-designed proteins made the process 50 TIMES more efficient. Cells that used to take 3 weeks to reprogram were doing it in 7 days. And the AI came up with protein modifications so radical that human scientists would never have tried them, some differing by over 100 amino acids from the originals. Altman said AI compressed years of biological research into a fraction of the time. Retro's CEO said the model delivered results faster and better than any human-led effort they'd attempted. They've already started human trials for a drug targeting Alzheimer's. But here's the part that should make everyone stop and think... Altman also revealed that GPT-5 was specifically upgraded to handle healthcare queries. People are already uploading their medical records, asking about symptoms, and getting real answers. He told a story about taking a picture of a skin issue and ChatGPT correctly diagnosing it and offering to prescribe medication on the spot. Doctors at hospitals across the country are secretly using it at home because their workplaces don't have HIPAA-compliant versions yet. Every clinic he visits tells him the same thing: Every doctor here uses ChatGPT, they just can't admit it publicly. His prediction is that within 10 years, every person on Earth will have access to BETTER healthcare than the best healthcare anyone can get today. Think about this for a second... The CEO of the world's most powerful AI company put every dollar he had into an anti-aging startup. Then he built a custom AI model exclusively for that startup's research. That model produced results 50x better than anything humans achieved. And simultaneously his main product is being quietly adopted by the entire medical profession without official approval. OpenAI is becoming the backbone of a healthcare revolution that most people haven't even noticed is underway. The billionaire longevity race used to be an irrelevant sidequest. Bezos put some into Altos Labs. Zuckerberg and Thiel backed similar ventures. Nothing serious. But Altman's approach is different because he has something none of them had: An AI capable of doing the actual science faster than human researchers ever could. If Retro's cellular reprogramming works at scale, the first generation of people who get to live significantly healthier and longer lives might already be alive today. And Altman is barely talking about it, I wonder why.
Community note
Sam Altman stated he invested his liquid net worth in two companies—$180 million in Retro Biosciences and additional funds in Helion Energy—not his entire liquid net worth in one company. Retro Biosciences is seeking but has not yet achieved a $5 billion valuation. technologyreview.com/2023/03/08/106… statnews.com/2025/12/03/agi…

Trump just got exposed for running the biggest insider trading operation in American history. Nancy Pelosi traded $5 million in stocks and Congress lost its mind. Trump literally executed $750 MILLION worth of stock trades in ONE quarter while being President. His ethics filing just dropped and the numbers are genuinely unprecedented in history: Between January and March 2026, Donald Trump personally executed 3,700 individual stock transactions worth between $220 million and $750 million. That's roughly 60 trades PER DAY. While signing executive orders, meeting foreign leaders, and making policy decisions that directly impact the companies he's buying and selling. Now here's where it gets really insane: On February 10, Trump bought between $1 million and $5 million worth of Dell stock. Three months later, on May 8, he stood at a Mother's Day event at the White House, thanked Michael Dell by name, and told Americans to "go out and buy a Dell." Dell stock surged 14.6% that day to an all-time high of $263.99. Since Trump's February purchase, Dell is up 96%. And 5 months BEFORE Trump bought Dell stock, Michael and Susan Dell donated $6.25 billion to Trump Accounts, one of the largest philanthropic commitments to a sitting president's signature program in modern history. So the timeline goes: Dell donates $6.25 billion to Trump's program -> Trump buys Dell stock ->Trump tells America to buy Dell from the White House podium -> Stock hits all-time high And that's just ONE stock... The same filing shows Trump bought Nvidia stock on February 10. One week later, Nvidia announced a massive chip deal with Meta. He bought more Nvidia stock one week BEFORE his own Commerce Department approved the sale of Nvidia chips to Saudi Arabia. He bought Intel stock starting in March 2026. The US government already owned a 9.9% stake in Intel worth over $41 billion. On April 30, Trump posted on Truth Social praising Intel, writing that "Intel Stock continues to rise." Intel jumped 3% in after-hours and is now up 140% year-to-date. He bought Palantir stock while his administration was actively handing them billion-dollar government contracts for immigration enforcement and defense. He bought Robinhood stock while his own Trump Accounts program uses Robinhood as the broker. He's currently sitting on over 100% profit on AMD, Intel, Bloom Energy, Marvell Technology, and at least 10 other positions. Every single president since Lyndon B. Johnson has used a blind trust to avoid exactly this situation. But Trump didn't. His assets sit in a trust controlled by his own children, and the filings show a broker acted as agent on several trades. The White House says the portfolio is "independently managed." But here's what independently managed looks like: Buy Dell stock. Three months later, publicly endorse Dell from the White House. Stock hits all-time high. Buy Nvidia stock. One week later, your own government approves their chip sales. Stock rips. Buy Intel stock. Post about Intel on Truth Social. Stock jumps. The government you run already owns a 10% stake. Buy Palantir. Hand them contracts. Buy Robinhood. Route a federal program through their platform. Nancy Pelosi got absolutely destroyed for her husband's stock trades. Her husband's total disclosed trades in his most controversial year were worth roughly $5 million. Trump just disclosed up to $750 MILLION in a single quarter. While making the actual policy decisions that move these stocks. This isn't a left or right issue. We're talking about the President of the United States averaging 60 stock trades per day in companies his own administration regulates, contracts with, and publicly endorses. What do you think?
