Our very short close in our neighbourhood was badly damaged by the heavy duty trucks belonging to a certain rich man. These trucks would use our road, in a residential suburb, illegally & with utter disregard & contempt for other property owners/occupiers. Up to now, this rich man hasn't had the decency to repair our badly damaged road although he can easily afford to do so if he wants. My sincere attempt to reach out to this rich man in order to arrange for him to repair our badly damaged road has been snubbed. Although the disgusting noise emanating from the rich man's premises has since stopped after I engaged both @JMafume & the Minister of Local Government, I'm still aggrieved by the fact that our short road remains in a very serious state of despair. When I repeatedly state that we're now living in the Sh*t of Harare, I think you can easily understand where I would be coming from. Once again, I'm calling upon this rich man to at least have some class & repair our badly damaged road in Ballantyne Park, Harare, as soon as possible. Thank you. @paultungwarara

Hon. Marian Chombo, Minister of State for Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution, toured the US$600 million Broxmen Investments Industrial Park in Norton. The project includes a 60MW thermal power station due for commissioning in September, with 40MW earmarked for the national grid and capacity expected to reach 210MW at completion. The park also houses a fertilizer plant, cement plant and Sunny Yi Feng Tiles factory, creating 5,000 direct jobs. Hon. Chombo praised the investment as a boost to industrialisation, employment, agricultural productivity and import substitution in Mashonaland West.
