Private lander Odysseus by @Int_Machines' aiming to land near Moon's south pole tonight around midnight. Success would be historic: No private spacecraft has ever soft-landed on Moon & no American vehicle has done so since Apollo 17 in 1972.

Homo naledi specimens buried 30m underground in cave system part of Cradle of Humankind, a UNESCO world heritage site in South Africa, date back at least 200,000 BC. Burial practices indicate complex emotional & cognitive behaviour, prior to Homo sapiens.
