I have never felt this disheartened as an EA!
None of the decision makers see the urgency in getting more supports into our schools for our students with diverse needs! This is not sustainable! This not safe! @Sflecce this is negligence! #OntEd #IStandWithEducationWorkers

Recently, I had a call with a parent who is feeling big stress. Her daughter starts school for the first time this September. Mom is terrified. Daughter has not been without Mom's company for the past 24 months. As educators, this reality must guide our planning for September.

Our community is always ready to help. The Ottawa Mosque at 251 Northwestern Ave. in #OttawaCentre has kindly set up a charging station for residents available 24/7 and they have a microwave available for use if needed. Thank you @OMA_Mosque !
