Yesterday, we were so excited to partner with @KPGreaterSac and @TweetABCF for a @SacLFCC Wellness Wednesday! It included a breast health presentation by Dr. Claudia De Young, cancer-prevention cooking demos with take-home meal kits, & referrals for free breast cancer screenings.
Early cancer detection saves lives, especially for LGBTQ individuals who face higher cancer risks. This is one of the many reasons why Congress must allow Medicare coverage of #MCED tests. Thank you @RepRaulRuizMD for your leadership and support of HR 2407. Let’s pass this bill!
