People aren't just looking up candidates. They're using ChatGPT. CampSight, a new tool from RFS Action Fund, helps candidates and orgs see what platforms are saying about them and create smarter digital strategies. The future of campaigning is here. bit.ly/4fIFt0r

We were tracking the CA gov race on Campsight - Steyer may have been winning the airwaves but he was losing the AI narrative. Read the full case study: runforsomething.medium.com/w…

sharp, sobering piece from @johnofa, a16z's first general partner, on the rise of AI, regulation, and the cues the valley is taking from how it handled its headlong push into crypto
“You don’t achieve balanced, intelligent regulation by silencing debate — you get it by engaging seriously and earning trust,” John O’Farrell writes about internal threats to Silicon Valley. nyti.ms/4vHBbew

in most of america you experience a title run through a television in a living room you drove to. in new york the game was projected on the sides of buildings and strangers hugged on the sidewalk at midnight. density is just the precondition for collective joy

One of our expressions is the lower down the ballot, the closer to your life. Municipal leaders can actually *do* shit about housing, child care, transportation, and the friction (or ease) you experience every day. People feel it when it's good -- and get furious when it's bad.
A generation ago, Giuliani and then Bloomberg set a template for city governance and urban revival that spread through the US and around the globe, lasting for decades. We may be seeing the arrival of a new paradigm—America's biggest cities turning left. nytimes.com/2026/06/10/opini…

"As both political parties look for generational change, these candidates believe they have both an issue and their birth dates on their side. And they defy the usual politics. They include Republicans who argue against local control where cities and towns have made it hard to build new homes, and Democrats who argue for lower property taxes and less red tape on developers." @realBurhanAzeem @DavidMoralesPVD @SpencerIgoMN @JuForthePeople

From @NextGenAmerica's pulse check: Authenticity matters because it's a building block for trust. It's another way of describing whether someone can credibly deliver on their promises.

No issue better exemplifies why we need young people in office than housing -- millennials & gen Z are experiencing this crisis wildly differently than older folks. They understand in their bones the urgency of solving for it. They also understand: It's not just about cost of living -- it's about the way in which housing shortages affect everything else, from where you can work to your social life to your ability to plan for the future. Run for Something & RFS Civics has been aggressively & proactively recruiting renters to lead. We cannot let up now, especially at the local level.

If you live in lower Manhattan and housing affordability is your top issue, vote Ryder Kessler for Assembly. He's the only candidate on the right side of solving the housing crisis. His opponent Jeannine Kiely is misleading you about her record. Receipts below. 🧵
