If you haven't tried @shortcatapp, you should :-) Recently it's been receiving some great updates, and its developer @chendo is top-notch. He dove deep into a wonky SplitView accessibility issue to make @shortcatapp work for my legacy @Outlook workflow šŸ‘šŸ’Æ

And now thankfully watchOS development has been saved from Storyboards x.com/_DavidSmith/status/127…

No more required storyboards for watchOS apps!

I believe it's @chrisbidlack (bidlack.com/), who made a whole suite of faux-nostalgia art prints around Ann Arbor transpiration. I'm a fan!

Has anyone else come across a fix for the broken ā‡§āŒ˜/ (⌘?) shortcut in macOS High Sierra? I've mentioned it before (x.com/andrewa2/status/986330…), but I'm curious if others experience the problem, and have found a good workaround? Is it fixed in Mojave?

Replying to @garybernhardt
The ā‡§āŒ˜/ (⌘?) is broken in High Sierra. I used it _constantly_ to execute menu commands, I believe you've mentioned using it, too. After invoking ā€˜Show Help menu’, the app will stop accepting keyboard input. @mjtsai aggregated these: mjtsai.com/blog/2018/04/14/h… I regret upgrading.

A Friday-evening pager alert at Nutshell, and thanks to boring technology (MySQL), no customer-facing impact, and a 10-minute repair. Incredibly glad to have learned the lessons of the boringtechnology.club during the early years.

With mobile, UX started investing heavily into highly specialized workflows, admittedly making them much easier than in the old desktop world, but dropped the ball on the ā€œgenericā€ interactions of computing. So if the task wasn’t predicted, it became nearly impossible to do.

Has anyone use Cloud Dataflow for stream processing where the process step involves an HTTP request to another service? This seems to break autoscaling, and the pipeline runs much slower than it could. #GoogleCloud

Do any of my SaaS peers have experience beyond @newrelic? Great product since 2011 — helped us scale @nutshell. Now plagued by lousy renewals. This year they doubled our rate, and started CC’ing our CEO during the renewal to try to twist my arm. Who’s chasing them in APM?
