We have spoken to both sides of the aisle:
We explained our system to
@RonWyden (D) at the Bitcoin Commons in Austin: "Incredible. More people should be doing this." There were about 20 witnesses.
Our CEO had a phone call with
@chiproytx (R): "I love this model"
We even used AI to put our t-shirt on
@RepThomasMassie. Ok, maybe that one doesn't count.
Yet, everything that is being proposed in Washington still has a health insurance backbone riddled with perverse incentives that have gotten us into this mess.
No outside of the box thinking.
HSAs for the little stuff is incrementally better but ER visits, major surgeries, chronic conditions, etc...all the big stuff, all the things that move the healthcare cost needle, 80% of our healthcare costs, are higher than the deductibles. Which means PEOPLE DON'T CARE about prices and therefore are subject to the perversities of health insurance and the medical industrial complex.
We have proven that a community of people can fund each others healthcare expenses more efficiently than big oligopolies. We have proven that you can get way way better prices if you eliminate the middleman and pay your doctor directly. The bigger the health event, the bigger the delta.
Yo, people in DC. Lets talk.
@SenFettermanPA you are the type of guy who will wear an Uninsured T-shirt in Senate chamber. We'll send you, or any of your colleagues, one (if thats allowed...otherwise you can buy one here:

Let's get creative and save our country!
