We would be in a far worse position right now if it weren’t for @jaelynwithers playing so well over the last month or so. It was a mistake. It’s not the end of the world.

I’m seeing an increase in texts from politicians and I cannot stress strongly enough that this is not the way to get me to donate or sign a petition or whatever. Do something and you’ll get my support. And you won’t have to text me to get it.

Study what the press is not covering about Trump's first week. Because that is where the really awful shit lies.

Thinking about what lies ahead for us I have no idea what’s realistic concern and what’s panicky fear-mongering. Like, the entire public education system could be demolished. Or we could be fine. There’s no way of knowing or planning.

Trump isn’t our president. He only ran to avoid jail. He’s gonna play golf as long as he can still stand up. He is not who will be running our country.

The news media is gaslighting you like Betty Broderick’s husband did to her. It’s not healthy, guys. There was nothing wrong with VP Harris’ campaign. If she were a 65 year old white man with the same message, she would’ve gotten 400 EV’s.

Had a conversation with a 5th grader about the election and he had a better understanding of the issues than many people who voted

It’s funny cause it’s true. So much Monday morning quarterbacking on my feed.
In last week’s column, I wrote that Kamala Harris had run a “nearly flawless campaign.” This week’s column is about her many mistakes and how I knew it all along.

People can analyze, hypothesize, blame Dems till they are blue in the face. None of it matters. This is the game right here. Misinformation works. Those that believed misinformation voted Trump. Those that believed the truth voted Harris. There is NO candidate that can change this. Republicans have a well oiled propaganda machine that spans all media platforms and we do not. Period.

They thought eggs were too expensive and Trump would fix that. Fine - TBD They want to strip away the rights of minorities, women and LGBTQ. No surprise- we’re aware of your hate. But the man risked this country’s safety and founding principals. Repeatedly.

Don’t you dare call yourself a patriot or think you’re saving this country.

“Until they threaten to put me in jail, I will continue to hold IEP meetings” is a sentence I never thought I’d need to say. And this from someone who does not enjoy IEP meetings (but understands their importance)

My brain vacillates between “I’m just gonna do my best to support my little corner of the world” and “recommend me books on fascism”
