Who’s more dependent on whom? How many US citizens live in India & How many Indians live in US? What will happen to India’s IT exports to US & remittances in $ from US to India? Which strong leader could have taken action against US? Those who couldn’t defend India against China?
India should ask US Ambassador in New Delhi to go back to Washington and remain there unless US expresses regret for the reckless killing of our citizens on sea. But Modi is a pussy cat before Donald. He shivers before him.
Bankrupt opposition always compares apples with oranges! Indian fishermen were killed within the territorial waters and within the jurisdiction of India by a foreign power. US attack is in a war torn international waters where India has no jurisdiction.
Modi in opposition mocked Sonia Gandhi when 2 Kerala Fishermen were killed in International waters. He doesn’t say a word on the US attack which killed 3 Indians in the gulf of Oman

Majority of d MP/MLAs can’t choose their own leader? Leader of parliamentary party will be picked by 1 individual who controls party 4 decades! What kind of law is this? Is there any parallel to this in any other mature western democracies? Why inner party democracy is absent?
Big trouble for the BJP’s plan for Kakoli Camp. Abhishek Manu Singhvi says there is nothing called a separate Group. Either you join the BJP with 2/3 MP’s or you risk being disqualified.

Why do we want family controlled political system & no powers with elected representatives to choose their own leaders? 4 decades political parties r controlled by 1 individual who alone gives tickets? If defection is bad, so is giving tickets for cash? Why nobody talks about it?

#WATCH | TMC political turmoil | "It should be done in 5 minutes. I am sure it won't be done," says Congress leader and Senior Supreme Court Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi while speaking on grounds for disqualification when asked if rebel TMC MPs disobeying party chief's instructions and backing the NDA on issue based topics in Parliament amount to defection

Why all powers should be concentrated with political parties controlled by 1 individual or family? Why people’s representatives elected by people should be so powerless? Why shouldn’t there be a mechanism 4 removing heads of political parties? Why there’s no inner party democracy

#WATCH | TMC political turmoil | Delhi: Congress leader and Senior Supreme Court Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi says, "I am not one of those who think that there is no dissatisfaction, anger in those who have left the TMC. I am also not one of those who think that the BJP alone is the reason for them to leave. But let me make a few points crystal clear. Never before in the 75-80 years of Indian history has any party misused agencies, that includes past BJP Govts and non-Congress Govts, to even 1/10th the extent which this Govt has done. Secondly, in the last 75-80 years of Indian political history, no party has aggregated and misused as much monetary resources as this ruling party...Third, there is no doubt in my mind that there are categories of people. You cannot equate a Suvendu Adhikari with the others who have left. Suvendu Adhikari may have had serious differences but he had the guts to leave the party years ago. He fought on the ground, he carried a campaign, he won the elections, he became the CM. That is the democractic way of doing. You may not agree with him but you cannot criticise him for this. There is a second category of very small number where people have left after 5th May 2026. But they have at least had the moral courage to resign their seats...The third category is the largest, they are not prepared to leave the office, they are not prepared to leave their greediness, they are not prepared to leave anything of the TMC which got them where they are...So, what kind of category is this? This is nothing but immoral. Fourthly, there is a huge complete, ridiculous conceptual distortion that anywhere any legislature party - if so called 2/3rd walk out and form a group then the anti-defection law doesn't apply. This is the most ridiculously wrong interpretation and is based on complete ignorance or deliberate non-understanding of the existing law which has been decided by the Supreme Court...Fifthly, pick up and read the Shiv Sena judgment of 2022. There is no concept of a 2/3rds simplicitor in the legislator party which will prevent the application of the 'dal badal' anti-defection law. They will be subject to disqualification. However, in this country, process is the punishment. Everybody knows the law but I, as a existing TMC and Mamata Banerjee, will file a complaint against you that you have left. That complain will go the Speakers of the Assembly and Lok Sabha. Is it possible to contemplate that those Speakers who belong to the ruling party will allow my complaint? They will reject and those people will be recognised. I will go to court and the court will take 3-4 years...Lastly, I have been advocating for many years that you must repeal all this farce of the 10th Schedule. You must have a 2-line 10th Schedule which says that anybody who is elected on symbol x and party y and who does directly or indirectly any other anti-party activity and joins/support any other party must resign the post he holds and refight the elections..."

1st be well informed ! Do some research & check how many MP/MLA defected other way around in the past! Can you show a tweet of yourself from that time? Is it the first time that paper leak has happened in this country? Which one is better or worse, A RECRUITMENT SCAM OR RE-EXAM?
The TMC Lok Sabha MPs would have been elected in 2024 because of Mamata Banerjee. They represent that class of crawling defectors who invent lofty reasons when they just want to align with power. But seriously folks do you still believe Raghav Chadha ex AAP will be remembered for anything but ditching his party. Not a word about paper leaks of CBSE by self styled youth icon. Likewise, the TMC scum that have risen to the top will not be speaking about the voters who elected them (many minorities in that mix) as they have all decided to serve Bengal’s Hindu Rashtra. That’s what they will be remembered for—being defectors.

Comparing APPLES WITH ORANGES ! First compare the FEES of IIMs for a 2 years diploma with FEES of 5 years MBBS Degree of the Government Colleges. IIMs are self sustaining whereas Government Medical Colleges are fully funded by the Government.
IIM, IIT graduates must have service bonds.

A Pseudo Revolutionary trying 2 create storm in Tea Cup ADM Jabalpur case led 2 mass movement People were on streets & Govt was forced 2 impose Emergency & put entire opposition in prison 4 years Where’s d public revolt or anger on streets? Opposition is Cut off-ground realities
The Supreme Court's judgment on SIR is the ADM Jabalpur of our times. The signal is unmissable: once the regime puts its foot down on a ‘politically sensitive’ matter, shutters are down for constitutional remedies in the courts. At a moment when the republic needed its guardian the most, the apex judiciary chose to abdicate its constitutional responsibility. As Bertolt Brecht foresaw—instead of the people electing their rulers, now the rulers are free to elect their people. My complete analysis in @IndianExpress: indianexpress.com/article/op…

Opposition goes to the highest court in this country, gets priority hearings & in the end is always dissatisfied with the verdict ! Same goes 4 ECI & all other CONSTITUTIONAL BODIES ! Finally they go to people & never accept the outcome with dignity, if it’s not in their favour
I did not to go to the Supreme Court today to hear its order in the SIR case. As a litigant in this case, and as someone who was given the honour of addressing the court, I should have been hopeful, anxious, or at least curious. I was not. The case was decided long ago. We were only waiting for the transcript and its fine print. The course of this case was settled in August last year. Having heard arguments against SIR for three days, the court moved away from examining the constitutionality of SIR and effectively converted itself into a Consumer Forum, focused on grievance redressal and arbitration, rather than constitutional principles. The case was effectively decided when the apex court allowed the ECI to rush through the Bihar elections without first deciding the matter, and without requiring the ECI to rectify even the most glaring defects in post-SIR rolls. There was little left of this case once the ECI proceeded with the second and then the third phase of SIR, while the Hon’ble Court leisurely heard arguments about its constitutionality. SIR had become a fait accompli. Any remaining doubt disappeared when the Hon’ble judges observed in open court that no one would be allowed to obstruct SIR. The final nail in the coffin of this petition was hammered during the hearing of another petition before the same Bench, when an Hon’ble judge remarked that millions denied their right to vote need not fret, since they could vote in the next election. At that moment, the court abdicated its constitutional responsibility. Shorn of legalese, the simple truth is that the highest court of a constitutional democracy has already authorised the disenfranchisement of millions of citizens — at least 59 million so far, could go up eventually to 100 million. It was inconceivable that the court would now declare SIR unconstitutional and annul all post-SIR elections. The lawyers were waiting for the the exact legal reasoning deployed to arrive at a conclusion that was already known. Such legal gymnastics did not interest me. Some friends were looking for some crumbs in the hope that the court might at least wish to save face, if not save the voters. Eventually that too did not happen. Polite noises apart, the Court has handed over a carteblac to the ECI to do what it pleases with the voters list. ADR vs Union of India (2026) is to our times what ADM Jabalpur vs Shivkant Shukla (1976) was to the previous assault on our democracy. We must hope that the SIR judgment does not mark the crumbling of the last constitutional wall, as ADM Jabalpur once did. We must believe that one day this constitutional abdication by the guardian of the Constitution will be recognised for what it was. And reversed. Jai Hind!

This hardly something to be proud of! Please check the ratio of population and area of Singapore & UAE and compare it with Maharashtra before celebrating this GREAT achievement!
🚨 Maharashtra’s economy is set to surpass Singapore and UAE in 2-3 years, says CM Devendra Fadnavis.

UPSC aspirants and mentors say this year's General Studies Paper 1 was unusually tough, long and packed with questions that should have been part of the Mains or the analytical CSAT. Before judging the outrage, give yourself six minutes and try answering these five questions from the paper. #UPSC #ExamPaper @SushimMukul indiatoday.in/education-toda…

#UPSCCSE2026 - Paper was undoubtedly difficult, to the extent some of the questions being called arbitrary and nonsensical. - Laxmikant is History but History has made a brutal comeback. (Approx 20 questions). - Ethics in prelims is a pleasant surprise. No complaints. - Unnecessary facts asked - don't make sense. - Lengthy - Unconventional .... the list goes on. My portion, Economics, had 14 questions directly. 5 could be answered directly from the classes and 6 indirectly from classes/ notes. The cut off might drop to 70's or even lesser. Lowest in a decade. 2 questions: 1. When cut off is low due to higher difficulty no one complains. 2. When cut off is low because the paper is abstract then people start having a problem. Some questions for which I want answers (preferably from UPSC): 1. How do you expect the students to prepare for such an exam? (I’m not asking about books. I am asking about strategy/ mindset) 2. Is UPSC doing this to wage a war against coaching institutions? (Questions asked multiple times) 3. Does UPSC want aspirants to look for other alternatives in the private sector and not depend just on govt jobs? My Opinion: UPSC wants people with high IQ, high EQ and a very stable mental balance to handle situations under extreme pressure. UPSC wants Dhurandhars!

These relics of colonial era should have been taken away long back. The rich & d powerful want to enjoy their life on govt resources in a poverty stricken, resource scarce country. Disgusting!

#WATCH | Delhi: On Centre’s order on Delhi Gymkhana Club, Rumnita Mittal, Member of the Club, says, "The first issue I think mostly is that we have to bust the myth that Gymkhana Club belongs to super-rich people with big cars or a lot of money, which is a total myth. The permanent members, 50% are armed forces, retired personnel. Then there are the bureaucrats. The bureaucrats who have made the policy decisions. They are the ones who, after retirement, are sitting here having a cup of tea in this open environment... How can you, within two weeks, tell us to vacate? What about the staff? 500-600 staff, where will they go? They will be on the roads... It's a heritage building. It's got grass courts, which you will barely find in Delhi, and we've held international tournaments here. It is a sports club and is used by veterans and retired people. So it would be very unfair to them that overnight you take away their place from them..."
