Replying to @USGSCoopUnits
Another example of some top notch folks within @USGSCoopUnits helping states and other agencies conserve fish and wildlife. This program is slated to be eliminated in the Presidents budget. Want to see this and other USGS programs continue? Contact your representatives.

This program encompasses a brilliant bunch of established, newly minted, and future biologists that are critical for conserving the natural resources we all enjoy. If something ever were to need funding, conserving the future of our natural areas has to be at the top of the list.
Fam — here’s a nice overview of the 43 nationwide Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Units, which have been a lasting model for wildlife research since the 1930s, created by wildlife science pioneers such as Aldo Leopold & Ding Darling. 🐟🦌🦆🦃🦎 Link: wildlifemanagement.institute…

The Soul of College Football is dying because of money. Allowing the Big 10 and SEC to get 4 automatic bids into another expanded College Football Playoff dilutes the importance of winning. 4 loss non conference champions don’t belong in the CFP. The proposed changes open the door for a Monopoly of the sport. The business of College Football is trying to destroying it.
