John Sterling is as much a part of the fabric of the New York Yankees organization as any player. It was an honor to have him call every one of my games during my career and an absolute pleasure to get to know him on a personal basis. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

As a PR person, all you ever wanted from reporters covering your team was to be as maniacal and obsessed as you were.
That was @EmilyGiam in every sense of the word.
What an unbelievable talent she is.
Man, did we have fun.
I covered the Olympics. I wrote about the coolest dogs. I learned how to code & found a role I loved. I spent a million nights in way-too-cold Big Ten cities but wrote about some fun teams & moments. We made a gymnastics team-builder. We told important stories. It was incredible.
