Never took a loan. Got my parents a decent home in village (a better house can’t be found in and around 50 villages), all three siblings married, paid father’s debts (for my education etc) when I started earning.
Use credit cards a lot, pay them on time. Obviously, IT returns won’t be as impressive as yours. Never checked CIBIL. Never bought anything on instalments.
I never spend beyond what I earn. I am very reluctant to take money from anyone or banks because, I fear, debt is something which will keep me awake. Otherwise, I am person who falls sleep within 2 minutes, have zero stress in life.
I know, not everyone can have this as consumption patterns vary and they have to build a future in this credit system and EMIs.
What I learnt in this small life is:
1. Bank on your talent, start early if you have the chance (I was late to YT by 7 years)
2. Be disciplined in life: Even when your work is just 2 hours a day, make sure it is regular. I have seen individuals ruining their assets because they thought the world would wait for their videos.
3. Do not try to replicate something that you ‘think’ is easy and generates fast money. Legitimate ways of earning fast have a very long and tedious process that is unseen to hasty young people.
4. Don’t buy stuff that has no actual utility to you (like an expensive iPhone) and is disproportionate to your earnings, however intense the peer pressure is. I buy one, milk it for three-four years by extensively filming, writing, editing. I can buy one every year, but I don’t.
5. Take care of your parents, however absurd, argumentative they are to you. We owe them everything.
6. Leftists are a cancer to the society. Keep exposing them.
