Reports are emerging that the man who was brutally attacked and thrown against a signpost has sadly died. Footage circulating online appears to show a police officer forcefully pushing him into a signpost, and many people are now demanding answers about exactly what happened. If these reports are accurate, there must be a full and transparent investigation. Public trust depends on the same standards being applied to everyone, including those in positions of authority. PALESTINE ACTION CONVICTED TERRORISTS SECRET POP PAST Leona Kamio also known as Ellie a former singer in the synthpop group Salen has been jailed for five years for her role in the violent Palestine Action raid on an Elbit Systems factory. The 30 year old who once released music on Island Records and appeared on BBC Introducing was part of the group that smashed into the Bristol site using a decommissioned prison van in August 2024. Kamio was sentenced alongside three others after a judge ruled the attack advanced an ideological cause and applied terror legislation meaning no early release provisions apply. The court heard the group caused extensive damage and engaged in violence with security and police before being convicted of criminal damage and other offences.
