Tired of hitting collaborator limits on Overleaf? Me too. So I'm building a better way. Meet Glyph, a lightweight, real‑time LaTeX editor for teams of any size. Built with Rust Tauri to be fast, offline‑capable and free from per‑project caps. Building it live. Bugs included free of charge. 🐛 Follow the journey! #BuildInPublic #LaTeX #RustLang #AcademicTwitter #IndieDev #Tauri

So I have been using @antigravity for the last few days and honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first. There are way too many AI IDEs launching every week, each claiming to “replace developers” or “10x productivity.” I assumed this was just another one. I was even more unsure when I realized it was backed by @Google . In my experience, Gemini models are great for multimodal tasks, image generation, video experiments, creative AI workflows, but I hadn’t been very impressed with them for serious full-stack development or complex refactoring. Still, after seeing peers and developer communities talk about it constantly, I gave it a try. And oh boy… its an amazing tool. For context, I’ve been using @cursor_ai Pro with @claudeai Opus 4.6 (thinking), which is genuinely powerful. The only downside? Usage limits. During heavy refactors, hitting caps can break your flow. With @antigravity , Claude Opus 4.6 refreshes roughly every 4 hours instead of feeling tightly restricted. That alone changes how freely you can experiment. But what really blew my mind? It wasn’t just smart suggestions, it was something else entirely. I broke it down properly here → 📝myblog.anikdas.me/blog/i-was… Curious, has anyone else tried it yet? #AI #DeveloperTools #Coding #Productivity #SoftwareDevelopment #Claude #antigravity #BuildingInPublic

🚀 Ever wondered “Which is faster — #include in C or import in Python/Java?” 🤔 In my latest blog I break down what “faster” really means — compile/import time vs execution speed — and compare how these mechanisms behave in C, Python, and Java. Spoiler: the answer depends on what you’re measuring! ⚡️ 👉 Read more: myblog.anikdas.me/blog/which… #Coding #Programming #Performance #Python #Java #C #BuildingInPublic #buildinpublic

🚀 Is it really okay to use multiple backend languages in a single project? I’m building ORBITA — a Space Domain Awareness platform. Current stack: • FastAPI (Python) for async REST APIs SGP4 propagation • Postgres PostGIS TimescaleDB for spatial time-series • Redis for caching • ML models (LSTM, classification) for anomaly & debris analysis Now I’m considering: • Keeping core APIs in Python • Moving heavy ML pipelines to a separate Python service • Possibly using Go or Rust for high-performance streaming / ingestion Is polyglot backend architecture a smart design choice for scalability… or an unnecessary complexity trap? Would love insights from people who’ve built large-scale systems 👇 #backend #microservices #architecture #fastapi #golang #rust #spaceTech #BuildingInPublic

Been using Cursor CLI with Claude Sonnet 4.5 and wow. It actually gets terminal workflows, fast responses, great context awareness, zero friction. Feels less like “AI assistance” and more like a real co-pilot.🔥 #Cursor #Claude #DevTools #AIForDevelopers #TERMINAL #BuildInPublic
