So I have been using
@antigravity for the last few days and honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first.
There are way too many AI IDEs launching every week, each claiming to “replace developers” or “10x productivity.” I assumed this was just another one.
I was even more unsure when I realized it was backed by
@Google . In my experience, Gemini models are great for multimodal tasks, image generation, video experiments, creative AI workflows, but I hadn’t been very impressed with them for serious full-stack development or complex refactoring.
Still, after seeing peers and developer communities talk about it constantly, I gave it a try.
And oh boy… its an amazing tool.
For context, I’ve been using
@cursor_ai Pro with
@claudeai Opus 4.6 (thinking), which is genuinely powerful. The only downside? Usage limits. During heavy refactors, hitting caps can break your flow.
With
@antigravity , Claude Opus 4.6 refreshes roughly every 4 hours instead of feeling tightly restricted. That alone changes how freely you can experiment.
But what really blew my mind?
It wasn’t just smart suggestions, it was something else entirely.
I broke it down properly here → 📝

Curious, has anyone else tried it yet?
