BREAKING NEWS: White House insiders leak that President Trump fully understands that he has lost the war. However, he is baffled as to why Iran won't give him the same deal that he would have gotten if he had won.

2026 is the first year in 18 years in which there are zero female active duty four-star generals. Pete Hegseth has been intervening in military promotions & fighting the military’s leaders in firing & denying promotions to women. The military promotions board – including its Trump-appointed director – selected 31 officers for promotion as “the best qualified officers within their respective competitive category.” Those 31 included seven women. Nine total promotions were cancelled by Hegseth: all seven women & two black men. Not one white man was removed.

SpaceX is obviously over valued but the fact that his flooding tunnel in Las Vegas company is worth $3 BILLION is laughable as well.

Am I the only one who thinks it's absolutely wild that the first trillionaire has never actually made 1 dollar in net profit across his companies? We live in interesting times

Speaking as a former pool operator. Painting the bottom of a shallow pool exposed to direct sunlight that's surrounded by trees dark blue simply creates the perfect conditions for algae to bloom lmao. This is the perfect exemplar for Trumps presidency.
The swamp is no longer a metaphor.
Community note
This image is nearly 14 years old, extracted from a news piece filmed in 2012 by NBC, documenting algae issues the Reflecting Pool was facing at that time. nbcnews.com/video/lincoln-…

Former BlackRock fund manager Ed Dowd on the SpaceX IPO: "people gotta understand... [SpaceX] raised $75 billion... [and only] floated 5% of the stock... it's a very small float" "[But its valuation], that's a different story" "$1.7 trillion did not go to SpaceX. [It is] $75 billion. So people need to understand that" "then when Anthropic and OpenAI, if they ever make it to IPO, they're going to raise about $100 billion each. So the total raised actual real money is about $300 billion between these three IPOs" "Their valuations, that's a different story. And those probably won't hold and they'll probably, you know, go down 80%. So anybody buying these stocks at these prices is probably going to lose a lot of money if they hold on to them" @ShannonJoyRadio @DowdEdward

Genuinely this dude's entire fortune has been built on losing money, but convincing people over and over again that you have some crazy feature or product that's coming soon, but never actually does, and that eventually you will totally make money. Toyota made $25B in profit last year, almost 7x what Tesla made, and has a market cap less than 1/4 of Tesla. If Tesla had a market cap based on profit, it would be worth $40B, nearly 1/35th it's current value, and Musk's shares would be worth around $8B instead of nearly $300B. His entire fortune is fake.

Well, here's some math. Starlink is a profitable business with about $11 billion of sales and $3 billion of free cash flow. It might be worth $75 billion at a frisky multiple of 25X free cash flow. The balance----the space launch business and the AI/data centers in space fantasy----has $7 billion of sales and NEGATIVE -$17 billion of free cash flow. So why is it worth anything, unless you are pricing a dream peddled by sell-side hucksters?! In short, after trading up to $2 trillion based on $75 billion of tangible Starlink value, where's the remaining $1.925 trillion of it? This isn't just the classical mania of the crowds. This is sui generis--- mass insanity in a casino that has been giving a lobotomy by three decades of money-printing madness at the Fed and its fellow-traveling central banks around the planet.
For $135 per share of SpaceX, you get 1/13,000,000,000th (One 13-BILLIONTH) of a company that in 2025 received $18,000,000,000 and lost $5,000,000,000 It’s allegedly worth $1,770,000,000,000 Do people not understand arithmetic anymore? Can they not count zeroes? Mass delusion.
