Minnesota continues to burn: There is a new wildfire that has quickly grown to 600 acres in Crow Wing County. This is known as the Flanders Fire, near Flanders Lake, an area of numerous lake homes and small lake communities.
The fire was reported to have jumped CR 11, possibly running into Crow Wing State Park. Aviation assets have been dropping on the fire and ground resources are on scene. Localized evacuations are ongoing.

The Enid, OK EF4 tornadic supercell had a ZDR column area of 70 square km (from our algorithm) ~1 km above the 0˚ C level just prior to tornado formation, consistent with the violent tornadoes from our 2021 paper and others we've looked at since (annotated in updated box plots).
