CTU is proposing a *flat* rate dues structure. The same structure as ILās state income tax that CTU has claimed is unfair and has been lobbying to change for years. š
Next week, the CTU is holding a vote to amend the union's constitution.
CORE's goal is to change the manner in which member dues are collected so CORE can rake in $8.5M.
If it passes, CORE will set aside millions to buy Board of Education seats and reelect Brandon Johnson.
CTU members must vote NO on these proposed changes.
CTU members who decline to vote are empowering Stacy Davis Gates to spend millions in member dues to control the BOE and put @ChicagosMayor back into office.
You really want Stacy to have another four years at the controls of this city?

This was truly a disgrace and a waste of taxpayer dollars. An attempt to intimidate sources and an attack on journalists. Harden should focus on making sure the district is serving its children and their families instead of going off on a tangent against the news media.
