Rather than allow other browser engines to install-to-homescreen on iOS, Apple is removing the feature entirely in the EU.
Some features are tied to install-to-homescreen, such as push messages. Apple is unshipping those for EU users.

I never noticed because I check/update my workspace package.json lockfile versions regularly using NCU:
npmjs.com/package/npm-check-…
pnpm v8 is installing the lowest versions for direct dependencies.
So ^1.0.0 resolves to 1.0.0 even if 1.1.0 is present in the registry. This resolution strategy is applied only for direct dependencies.
Should this be reverted to the way it worked in v7?
