🚨 An undercover sting just exposed alarming loopholes in Westminster’s weak lobbying system: a fake Chinese company bought meetings with ministers and MPs, and it may not have even broken any rules! ✍️ Sign & share: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitio… via @38degrees

I will continue to donate to support our lifeboats. Saving lives is good and the lifeboat crews are heroes!
🚨 BREAKING: Thousands of British citizens flooded social media this weekend, declaring they WILL NOT donate to the RNLI. The backlash erupted after leaflets asking for donations to “save lives at the sea” were distributed across the nation last week. Will you be donating?

What about the biological women's rights? They have rights which I will always fight to protect. I also believe in the human rights of all trans and LGBTQ people but not by taking away the hard won rights of women.

What this shows is that TWAW is not a claim of fact but a religious or political doctrine. Claims of fact are subject to weight of evidence. Doctrines are acts of wool, often despite the weight of evidence.
As a woman, I would like to remind anyone that is in the community I have built that I believe that trans women are women full stop and you cannot change my mind. The protection of trans people and the LGBTQ community is a duty I’d encourage everyone in my community to continue to fight for, we must protect the dolls. It’s been an honour being able to see the variety of facially challenged and intellectually stunted come together below this post to bash a woman for hanging out with other women. I’d be jealous too if I didn’t possess the range Anyways… time to mute, you can argue amongst yourselves if you’re just that much of a loser or maybe keep scrolling and not waste your life on peoples business that don’t concern you (and also of people you don’t know in real life) x

Finland knows that Socialism works. They house all the homeless people, and have the least in the world. They closed all paid Education in 1976 and now have the best education system in the world. They are the happiest country in the world. Be like Finland.

Rare sighting here. A tweet that shows thought and compassion about something important.
IF I GET DEMENTIA….. I’d like my family to hang this wish list up on the wall where I live. I want them to remember these things. 1a. Every time you enter the room announce yourself. “Hi Dad - it’s Amanda.” NEVER ask- Do you know who I am??? That causes anxiety. • If I get dementia, I want my friends and family to embrace my reality. • If I think my spouse is still alive, or if I think we’re visiting my parents for dinner, let me believe those things. I’ll be much happier for it. • If I get dementia, don’t argue with me about what is true for me versus what is true for you. • If I get dementia, and I am not sure who you are, do not take it personally. My timeline is confusing to me. • If I get dementia, and can no longer use utensils, do not start feeding me. Instead, switch me to a finger-food diet, and see if I can still feed myself. • If I get dementia, and I am sad or anxious, hold my hand and listen. Do not tell me that my feelings are unfounded. • If I get dementia, I don’t want to be treated like a child. Talk to me like the adult that I am. • If I get dementia, I still want to enjoy the things that I’ve always enjoyed. Help me find a way to exercise, read, and visit with friends. • If I get dementia, ask me to tell you a story from my past. • If I get dementia, and I become agitated, take the time to figure out what is bothering me. • If I get dementia, treat me the way that you would want to be treated. • If I get dementia, make sure that there are plenty of snacks for me in the house. Even now if I don’t eat I get angry, and if I have dementia, I may have trouble explaining what I need. • If I get dementia, don’t talk about me as if I’m not in the room. • If I get dementia, don’t feel guilty if you cannot care for me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s not your fault, and you’ve done your best. Find someone who can help you, or choose a great new place for me to live. With a bus and activities!! • If I get dementia, and I live in a dementia care community, please visit me often. • If I get dementia, don’t act frustrated if I mix up names, events, or places. Take a deep breath. It’s not my fault. • If I get dementia, make sure I always have my favorite music playing within earshot. • If I get dementia, and I like to pick up items and carry them around, help me return those items to their original place. • If I get dementia, don’t exclude me from parties and family gatherings. • If I get dementia, know that I still like receiving hugs or handshakes. • If I get dementia, remember that I am still the person you know and love.” ᴄᴏᴘʏ ᴀɴᴅ ᴘᴀsᴛᴇ in Honor of someone you know or knew who has dementia. In Honor of all those I know and love and lost who are fighting Dementia/Alzheimer’s.

How can he know?
Islamist imam in Germany: “As soon as you enter Paradise, 72 virgins will be waiting for you. When you are done with one virgin, the next one will be ready for you. The virgins won’t be jealous of each other.” How do you even fix this mentality?

Believe it or not, this is Iran today. Bravery is always beautiful. Across the country, women are no longer begging for permission to show their hair. They are walking unveiled through streets once ruled by the morality police and fear. Compulsory veiling isn’t collapsing because the Islamic Republic is reforming, it’s collapsing because women themselves dismantled it, step by step. This is not obedience. It’s not negotiation. It’s a revolution born from courage a revolution that no regime can control. They now control only the schoolgirls, forced into hijab from the age of seven. And tie courage of Iranian women is not stopping here. It’s the first step toward a secular democracy; a fight to reclaim a future where no one rules women’s bodies, minds, or destinies ever again! #WomanLifeFreedom
1-Tomorrow, July 10th, is the world day without hijab. This came out as a response to World Hijab Day. Throughout our campaign, I tried reaching out to the organisers of World Hijab day to get their support in our fight against compulsory hijab in Iran. But they blocked me.

Earlier on, I left my house to go for a walk and a guy on a bike came towards me. He had has face covered. Maybe he just wanted to ask me something. But I live in a quiet suburban area - where you don’t normally run into guys on bikes with their faces covered. My body went into ‘fight or flight’. I went back to my house, changed my coat (so I was less recognisable) and waited five minutes before going out again. This time, as I rounded the corner, there were two blokes on bikes with their faces covered. Back to the house again, considered taking the car, then remembered I’m not supposed to drive yet … For those who haven’t got it yet, this is how it feels to be a woman. To be always wary, on your guard. And your body knows when something feels ‘off’ - just like mine did today. My body reacted exactly the same way when I realised there was a man in the women’s toilet at Bluewater shopping centre the other week. I wasn’t sure at first. Until he looked me in straight in the eye mockingly (all six foot odd of him) as if to say: ‘I dare you to say something b*tch.’ And this is why we need our own spaces. There are enough threats to negotiate as we go about our daily life - without facing them in our single sex spaces too.

I think that @BBCNews, @SkyNews @ITVNewsPolitics and @Channel4News should all be reporting on Reform UK and Russian bribery. RT if you agree!! Why are the media ignoring such a blatant story?!
