1/ At @ThisDotLabs, I built a Codex Plugin, called Build Web Data Visualization with DevEx Lead @coreyching from OpenAI. With this plugin, Codex uses image gen to design the app and then implements it really well. See the examples below. Claude can’t do this!🧵

Insane result: From 1.46 million to 182k tokens across 54 cases against real repos I’ve spent the last few weeks optimizing my local intent-mining CLI for software projects. It finds specs, ADRs, plans, RFCs, agent docs, etc. Then statically packs what an agent needs. Latest run: 87.6% fewer tokens with precision, recall, sufficiency, discovery, etc unchanged. Full eval updated CLI soon!

Really proud to show off the 3D dungeon game I built for @OpenAI using Codex, GPT 5.5 (and 5.4) and new plugins/skills I worked on. This game was created in about 2 work days, including art and audio, etc. This doesn't even show all of the dev tools that are built in.
GPT-5.5 is here - two demos I wanted to share and are featured in the launch post. One is a playable 3D dungeon arena prototype built with Codex and GPT models — from game architecture and combat systems to HUD feedback, environment textures, and character dialogue. The other is an interactive visualization of live USGS earthquake data, combining a global map, timeline, and depth profile to explore recent seismic activity. Fun launch, checkout out more in our official blog ➙

Rama is the greatest of all time because he lived a life where the choices he made were always in the benefit of the greater good, duty over desire, and sacrifice over self. His legacy continues to enhance and empower humanity over time and bring the belief in the goodness of the human spirit to resolve all conflict and bring peace to the world. Tessa has been the best lead, hands down. Learned so much under her! Any team would be lucky to have her :)
I am looking for a new role following a company-wide downsizing. I’ve spent the last 4 years as Head of Developer Relations at Appwrite, and it gave me more career and personal growth than any other role I’ve had. They truly pushed me to my full potential, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. I’m proud of everything we accomplished. It’s been an amazing run! I recently read Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl, and now this is one of my favorite books. If you haven’t read it, you really should. It’s about finding purpose, even in the most difficult circumstances. With both of my kids heading off to college in the next couple of years, I’ve been thinking a lot about what drives me. For me, it’s meaningful work. Waking up each day to build, contribute, create value, and make an impact is what motivates me. I’m looking for a Developer Relations role as a: * Founding team member * Senior / Staff * Head of / Director / VP If you’re building in tech, especially AI, and need someone to own the bridge between product and community, I’d love to connect. If you know of a strong fit, I’d appreciate any leads or introductions.

Right now, a lot of engineering orgs are stuck in experimentation mode, testing prompts, trying agents, but not seeing consistent impact in how they ship. This workshop is about closing that gap. @thisdotlabs is breaking down how teams are actually integrating AI into real workflows, including how to structure prompts, where agents fit, and how to automate parts of the dev cycle without adding noise. It’s practical, grounded, and built around what’s working today. 🎟 ai.thisdot.co/workshops Use code THISDOTX for $50 tickets!

This is the kind of project that makes us proud of the Appwrite community. ❤️ A developer from our community, @DHernandez5_, built a Telegram bot that tracks real-time river levels across Spain and sends automatic flood alerts to subscribers. 🌊🚨 People can follow specific rivers, get warnings when levels rise, and check historical data whenever they need. Built by one developer. Helping entire communities stay informed.
