1st like to thank God for opening ❤️& minds 2nd those who took strides 🗣️🏛️ 3rd the Administration for listing & fixing this. This, to date, was one of the scariest moments in U.S. History I’ve seen, to think the whip of a pen would segregate an entire Christian Faith.
Last week, a proposed list of simplified faith codes was released to the media. The Pentagon list included redundant and unnecessary labeling, and the mistake has been fixed. The goal of this effort is to simplify a previously out-of-control “belief” coding system that had ballooned to over 200 codes. In order to clarify the work of chaplains, and simplify the work of commanders, the Pentagon has consolidated and simplified the list to roughly thirty codes — using the previously used labels for faiths. The Pentagon’s job is not to adjudicate theological debates, but instead to ensure sincerely-held faith is respected and encouraged in our ranks. Below is the updated Religious Affiliation Codes (RAC) list:

Latter-day Saints are among the most patriotic, service-oriented individuals in our country. They are also unequivocally Christian—just look at who is in the name of the Church. It is unacceptable for a government entity to characterize a faith in a manner that contradicts the religion’s own foundational tenets. I am working now to ensure a correction is made.
The Office of the Secretary of War is announcing a significant change to the Department’s categorization of religious affiliation. In a long overdue move, we reduced the list from over 200 unmanageable categories to 31. With this move, we are returning to the original intent of collecting this data - to allow our chaplains and religious support personnel to provide the best spiritual care to our warfighters. This decrease in religious affiliation codes is not designed to make any claims on the legitimacy of any faith or religious belief, nor is it intended to provide a list of “officially approved” religions. Rather, it is designed to allow chaplains to quickly look at the religious composition of their units and determine how they structure resources to best provide for warfighters of all faith groups. The Department of War places a high value on the First Amendment and the free exercise of religion. Chaplains play an instrumental role in providing spiritual care and facilitating the Warfighters' ability to freely exercise their religion of choice, or no religion at all. With this new change, we believe we can provide the best data to support our chaplains in that effort.

Phones, watches, doorbells, cars, factories and energy grids are increasingly becoming connected, all collecting and communicating information to be interpreted, analyzed and acted upon. Noting this trend, Elder Gerrit W. Gong (@GerritWGong)  of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will discuss how to safely navigate artificial intelligence in a 60-minute gospel workshop video titled “Faith, Dignity and Human Flourishing: Hearing God’s Voice in an Age of Artificial Intelligence,” available on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Welcoming a child into your family is one of the most meaningful moments in life, and as a dad, I understand both the joy and responsibility that comes with it. At a time when so many young families are facing higher financial burdens, we should be making it easier—not harder—to raise children and build a future. That's why I was proud to introduce the Supporting Newborn Parents Act, which puts money back into the pockets of hardworking families so parents can focus on raising their newborn instead of worrying about making ends meet. NEW: @AsmwomanMacedo @AliMacedo4CA (R-Tulare) announces she and @AsmRepublicans are calling for a special legislative session to address fraud immediately. "We need harsher penalties for the fraudsters," she said. A special session, per Macedo, would focus on bringing "accountability back to our spending and assure taxpayers when their dollars come to the state capitol, we are spending them and using them wisely and making sure they are getting to the programs and the people they are meant to protect."

The road to redemption began with “hosanna.” As we remember the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, may our hearts welcome Him this Easter season.

Nearly 2000 years ago, Palm Sunday marked the beginning of the last week of the mortal ministry of Jesus Christ. Scriptures tell us that the week began with throngs standing at the gates of the city to see “Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee” (Matthew 21:11). Though we do not stand at the gates of Jerusalem today with palms in our hands, the time will come when “all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, [will stand] before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands” (Revelation 7:9). #GreaterLove

I’ve spent decades studying the history & strategies used to control this region, & yes, it even gets biblical when just looking at who controlled which territories… The last major realignment was the destruction & division of the Ottoman Empire by the British 👑 around 1916.

For decades, it's been accepted that the US is in decline, that we’re in a multi-polar world and America is no longer the reigning superpower. Xi Jinping promised this would be the Chinese century, American dominance a thing of the past. Trump said, "Not on my watch." Why the President's strikes on Iran are really about China:

NEW: Chevron sent a letter to Gov. @GavinNewsom @CAgovernor and leaders of the legislature, CA Air Resources Board, and CA Energy Commission, expressing concerns over CA @AirResources Board’s proposed Cap-and-Invest regulation, arguing it could significantly increase costs on refiners in California. In short, Cap-and-Invest is a climate policy that sets a limit (CAP) on the total pollution allowed in the state. It basically forces large polluters to pay for their emissions, with the money generated going toward clean energy and community projects (INVEST). Supporters say the program is crucial to protect the environment, reduce pollution, and work toward a sustainable future. But oil and energy companies are concerned the program’s new proposed regulations will increase costs on refiners and hurt the state’s energy economy. In the letter, Andy Walz, Chevron’s president of downstream, midstream, and chemicals wrote “the proposed regulation will cripple the survivability of the state’s remaining refineries.” In previous one-on-one interviews I conducted with Walz, he expressed concerns about the future of oil companies in California. He concludes the letter, warning the proposed regulation “will cause irreversible harm to California’s economy and energy security and broader vital American interests.” Reaching out to CA Governor’s for a response.
