We’re not covering the World Cup this summer. We’re covering The World’s Cup. We were on the beaches in Brazil in 2014. The streets of Moscow in 2018. But in 2022, we did something different. We went thousands of miles from the stadium, deep into Argentina, to show what the tournament actually does to the people who live for it. We found something so special that we’re doing it again. Even bigger. So while the matches themselves unfold in the US, Canada and Mexico, we’ll be showing how they are experienced everywhere else - in Baghdad, Tashkent, Asunción, Praia and far beyond. The World Cup doesn’t only belong to the host nations. It belongs to everyone who lives for it. Stay tuned, something very special is on the way.

World Cup teams have mandated “community sessions” that are mainly exclusive ticketed events. Algeria’s community session was a real one, where the community was invited and now, children in the KC metro get to say they’ve played with international soccer stars.

🏟️ I’m hearing there are perhaps 10K tickets still available for the USMNT opener and there’s this “American’s don’t like soccer” trope. 📈 But we’re seeing record attendences at 4th div amateur games! Maybe affordable and accesible are important elements for FIFA to ponder.
