Trump's narrative over the past couple of days has gotten more fantastical than ever. He's taken to discussing his level of cognition and his polls - with diametric falsehoods. His break from reality is widening due to age, illness, stress, and desperation. And he's freaked out that time is running out. He cannot say anything truthfully, rarely even speaks informationally, vacillates constantly, goes on late night panic-post benders, and has the attention span of a fruit fly. More elected officials need to start speaking more loudly: Trump is NOT fit to serve and CANNOT continue as president.

Trump on 60 Minutes yesterday was like a psychological clinic in "consciousness of guilt." His demeanor, defensiveness, and denials were all consistent with it. Consciousness of guilt must be impossible to contain when your secrets and lies are being poked at, while you're surrounded by declining popularity, tanking polls, unbridled cravings, war, economic malaise, a desperation to reverse aging, and an overarching need to feign grandiosity while you think you still can.
