272 people who, mostly at a young age, were diagnosed with some form of #cancer trace it back to their time on #ArtificialTurf fields made with recycled tire infill.

That rubber crumble seen on artificial turf could be leading to detrimental health later in life. That's according to a group of people from across the U.S. who all played on the turf as children and have all had some type of cancer.

Unfamiliar with why it’s a big deal that #PFAS is shedding from artificial turf into users & waterways?
Read here about adverse health effects of PFAS including immune disorders, decreased vaccine response in children, more severe cases of Covid-19, cancer, etc.
Harvard-Westlake High School in L.A. plans to install acres of artificial turf. The dangers of artificial turf are well documented and tests on the specific turf to be used reveal levels of PFAS well above state and federal health advisories.

What causes a consistent ball hop?
1. Quality infield mix with an SCR between 0.5-1.0
2. Proper compaction
3. Proper moisture in the upper layer
When you put these three ingredients together, you get a safer, more playable infield.

Does an @Aer_Aider work on sports fields? Yes, very good at working in the drop style top dresser on our edges. Using spinner type in outfield. Still trying different brushes but it works well. This is stock bristles

There is absolutely no reason to continue to promote plastic fake green when real grass is always less expensive. Multiple University studies have proven that real green is less expensive when compared on a 10 year study. Maintenance included.
