Different old man radio take but one day the local oldies station simply stopped playing Motown and other 50s-60s rock n roll / RnB and started playing Green Day and NSYNC. Legitimately felt like a humiliation ritual for our entire culture.

one of my old man opinions is that it’s a bummer when u put on a college radio station & you hear like, Led Zeppelin or The Strokes or whatever. nothing against those bands but college radio isn’t for hugely popular music. play us something we wouldn’t hear in the grocery store
