What’s the optimal TMS target for smoking addiction? @SK__PhD @Brain_Circuits and @tweetnicolepete @UCLA found that connectivity of 243 TMS sites to a lesion-based addiction remission circuit led to better response. Out now in @APAPubJournals

Lesion network mapping (LNM) has been powerful in linking symptoms and brain functional circuits, but ongoing debates highlight that it is still hard to isolate symptom-specific effects. We came up with a new method, robust LNM (rLNM) — a unified framework combining null models and selective specificity to reveal reliable, symptom-specific networks from background structure. biorxiv.org/content/10.64898… @bttyeo @foxmdphd @ndosenbach @club_scan

We recently saw two people with lesions of the right mid to posterior insula. What do you guess – they lost all desire to enjoy which of these guilty pleasures: A. gambling B. sex C. eating junk food D. getting massages
