मुंबई तसेच मुंबई उपनगरातील कोळीवाड्यांचे सीमांकन अद्याप पर्यंत प्रलंबित असून सदर कोळीवाड्यांचे सीमांकन लवकरात लवकर होणे गरजेचे आहे. विशेषतः वर्सोवा येथील कोळीवाड्यांमध्ये राहणाऱ्या स्थानिक लोकांची घरे जीर्ण झालेली असून त्यांना त्यांच्या घराचे डागडुजीचे काम करायचे तर त्यांना कुठल्याही प्रकारचे महानगरपालिकेकडून परवानगी मिळत नाही. त्यामुळे रहिवाशांना जीर्ण झालेल्या अवस्थेत असलेल्या घरांमध्येच रहावे लागत आहे. त्यामुळे या कोळीवाड्यांचे सीमांकन लवकरात लवकर व्हावे तसेच कोळीवाड्यांसाठी मुंबई विकास आराखड्यात वेगळा डीसीआर तयार करण्यात यावा अशी मागणी विधानसभेत केली.
