STARLINK: El Al airline announced today that it signed an agreement with SpaceX to install Starlink on its aircraft starting in 2027. The Israeli airline will offer the service free of charge to passengers, subject to conditions, enabling browsing, streaming, remote work, and other digital services during flights. Per El Al CEO Dina Ben Tal Ganancia, "We continue to invest in upgrading the flight experience and in the most advanced products for our customers. The integration of Starlink technology into El Al aircraft is a significant step forward, allowing customers to stay connected in the air, enjoy live streaming and continue working and communicating smoothly and without interruption. This strategic move reflects our commitment to providing El Al customers with a leading flight experience that meets the international standards of the aviation world."

The Model 3 Performance is absurd on dirt roads. By constantly adjusting torque between the front and rear motors hundreds of times per second, it’s finding grip before most drivers even realise it’s needed. Whether it’s mud, loose gravel, standing water or a road that’s changing corner by corner, this thing just stays planted. For a car with over 500 horsepower, that’s ridiculous.

Exactly what would happen if my $40 per ride surges today went to the U.S. federal government so that they could "solve hunger". Nope, I'm going to give them to Elon Musk and let him 100x it for me over the next couple of decades. Yep, these are literally $4K per ride surges in my world...

Only about $1 would even make it to Africa. The other $39 would get caught up in a web of NGOs, and eventually just end up with $19 at a Learing Center somewhere, and the other $20 with Chelsea Clinton. No thanks.

It's interesting that SpaceX already does so many ads but Tesla doesn't. Why not? I don't really care either way, but the discrepancy is weird.

People who grew up next to farms never waste food because they know how hard it is to bring food from farm to table. People who grew up next to factories never destroy something perfectly good because they know how hard the labor is to make it. The front of my childhood home faced rice paddies and the back alley was a plastic factory making toys. Not a single grain of rice was allowed to be left in the bowl, and some of our toys were put together with leftover defective parts from the factory. You can tell how much people care about labor by how they cherish food and goods, because they have gone through the labor to deliver them.
