Except those franchisees paid money to the treasury for the franchise or, at least competed with each other to reduce costs. Whereas GBR will be a money pit, held to ransom by your mates in ASLEF and the RMT. The loser here will be the taxpayer.
We have a few here, ASLEF and RMT. One ex RMT LDC rep is a supporter. The only thing they go on about Reform is ‘Immigrants and small boats’ and give no thought to losing workers rights, and everything unions have fought for.
Roz is a Landlord, champagne socialist.
People who are paying into these unions, need to think again. Take control of the STUC, Unite, PCS, RMT, ASLEF fight back as they are the problem.
Thats why I think it was fear of revolution spreading to the rest of the UK, not squeamishness, that stopped Irish revolt being put down ruthlessly.
In particularvMallow Shootings where Black & Tans shot ASLEF & RMT (NUR) members leading to denunciation by the NUR leader 1/2
Yes, it's been agreed between ASLEF and TOCs, but if it's going to affect book on/off times by that much, it could become a problem as a condition has been given away that could be sold. Turnaround times need to stop being the bare minimum.
So we’re getting new shifts at work because of this @ASLEFunion dignity thing. Instead of my latest finish being at 0345, it’s now gonna be at 0630 because we now need to reduce start times between 0000-0500! Yeah. THANKS ASLEF!!!!
I'm going to the Orgreave march in Sheffield with some ASLEF colleagues, Shirley.
Hopefully the rain will hold off🤞🤞
You've got this Shirley, I have every faith in you ❤️🤗

#OnThisDay 1984. At their annual conference meeting in London, the train drivers’ union, ASLEF, voted to give the National Union of Mineworkers £15,000.
I also count road maintenance crews, train drivers, and bus drivers in the category of logistics labour (as do the major logistics trade unions in the UK, RMT, ASLEF, and Unite).
Lol I'd love for aslef to poll their members to find out how many vote for reform. I think they maybe a bit surprised of the result. I know of a retired driver who has just been elected as a reform Cllr 😉
