Except those franchisees paid money to the treasury for the franchise or, at least competed with each other to reduce costs. Whereas GBR will be a money pit, held to ransom by your mates in ASLEF and the RMT. The loser here will be the taxpayer.

We have a few here, ASLEF and RMT. One ex RMT LDC rep is a supporter. The only thing they go on about Reform is ‘Immigrants and small boats’ and give no thought to losing workers rights, and everything unions have fought for.

Yes, it's been agreed between ASLEF and TOCs, but if it's going to affect book on/off times by that much, it could become a problem as a condition has been given away that could be sold. Turnaround times need to stop being the bare minimum.

So we’re getting new shifts at work because of this @ASLEFunion dignity thing. Instead of my latest finish being at 0345, it’s now gonna be at 0630 because we now need to reduce start times between 0000-0500! Yeah. THANKS ASLEF!!!!
