That’s a fair and important point. The Phase 1b data is undeniably strong, but you’re right — the real de-risking (Head-to-Head vs Valtrex) is still years away. A Phase 2 miss or an unexpected safety signal would be painful. That said, a few things provide some cushion: ASMB isn’t a single-asset story anymore. Even if the HSV program stumbles, they still have ABI-6250 in HDV (with PBC/PSC expansion potential) and a cash runway into 2028. That gives them time and negotiating power, unlike many clinical-stage biotechs that would be forced into a highly dilutive raise after bad data. Gilead’s early opt-in (before Phase 1b was even complete) also suggests they saw something compelling. While that doesn’t eliminate clinical risk, it does mean the asset already cleared a high bar internally at a large pharma company. A clean miss in Phase 2 would obviously hurt the valuation significantly and push any potential buyout further out (or lower the price). But a partial success or even just clean safety data would likely still leave meaningful value on the table — especially given the current depressed valuation and strong cash position. The real question is how much of that downside is already priced in at current levels. At ~$23, the market isn’t paying much for success beyond the existing data. Would be interested to hear how heavily you’re weighting that Phase 2 risk in your own model.

$ASMB – The pressure is building fast. Yesterday at Goldman Sachs, CEO Okazaki didn’t hold back: “Phenomenal proof-of-concept.” “Incredible data.” 94–98% viral shedding reduction. Head-to-Head vs Valtrex expected H2 2027 (“if not faster”). Gilead already opted in before Phase 1b was even complete. That’s not standard partnership behavior. Additional facts: • Fresh RSU grants to Okazaki in March June 2026 • Cash runway secured until end of 2028 (maximum leverage) • Still talking about “other options” beyond a simple opt-in Big Pharma is back in acquisition mode (GSK just announced a multi-billion dollar deal). ASMB sits with de-risked assets, an existing partner inside, and zero financing pressure. Next major catalyst drops in July — Gilead’s full development & commercial plan. The setup for a serious move is clearly forming. $ASMB #ASMB #Biotech #StocksToWatch #MergersAndAcquisitions #PharmaStocks #ClinicalTrials #Gilead #Buyout #SmallCapStocks #StockMarket #BiotechStocks #Investment

Risk first: ASMB -26% 1M. Market may overhype Phase II data (2027-28). Short-term biased up IF volume confirms. BUT fails if <22.24 low. Wait: 2x avg vol & close >27.50. Risk of binary event. #RiskFirst #NASDAQ

The Assembly Telecommunications & Utilities Committee recently advanced A4801, legislation sponsored by Asm. Bailey, that would establish guardrails to ensure costs associated with large-load customers—including data centers—are not passed on to NJ families & small businesses.

$ASMB – This is getting seriously bullish! 🔥 Just digested the Jefferies Fireside Chat – CEO Okazaki dropped some strong signals: • Cash runway secured until END of 2028 → almost no dilution risk! Position is extremely strong. • HSV: Gilead Development & Commercial Plan coming Mid-Year Indication Expansions expected very soon! • ABI-6250 (HDV): Accidental “positive Proof of Concept” slip fresh FDA meeting → Phase 2 end of 2026, Data already possible in 2nd half of 2027. Acceleration in progress! • Opt-in decision not at any cost → clear focus on maximum Long-Term Value. Open for “other options”… 👀 Updated Buyout Range: • Realistic $52–75 • Base-Case $55–65 → that’s 120–160 % upside from current levels! $ASMB is currently one of the cleanest, most undervalued Gilead plays in the entire market. Strong pipeline massive cash buffer partner already deeply invested. The “slowly exploding” mode just shifted into the next gear 💎 #ASMB #Gilead #Biotech #Stocks #StockMarket #SmallCaps #Biotechnology #Pharma #MemeStocks #StockToWatch #Investing #LongTerm

$AKTX released an online abstract ahead of the ASCO 2026 Annual Meeting highlighting breakthrough preclinical data for its lead antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), AKTX-101. The TROP2-targeting ADC, which utilizes a proprietary RNA spliceosome-modulating payload called PH1, demonstrated significant single-agent potency and strong synergistic cancer-killing activity (Bliss synergy scores > 10) when combined with the KRAS inhibitor adagrasib in hard-to-treat pancreatic cancer models harboring KRAS G12D and G12C mutations. This synergistic effect was uniquely driven by PH1's ability to target and degrade pre-mRNA transcripts and was not observed with traditional topoisomerase I inhibitor comparator payloads, which instead exhibited antagonistic effects. The data support broader clinical positioning for AKTX-101 as the oncology biotech company advances IND-enabling studies ahead of a planned Phase 1 first-in-human trial by mid-2027 $AKTX $MTVA $HCWB $ADTX $IMRX $GOVX $NXL $ASMB $WOK $ATPC See More Pre-market Movers biopharmcatalyst.com/news/20…
