Today’s pick is from Trainer BAMSY9498 (@saad_bakhtiar) in Kenya 🇰🇪!
This postcard showcases a mural titled "Dreams of Tomorrow Mural” in Nairobi.
This mural depicts a striking young girl painted in bold blue tones, looking ahead with determination. She is surrounded by cityscapes, symbols of growth, and vibrant colors. The artwork conveys a powerful message of hope, the future, and dreams, embodying a spirit of optimism and looking forward.
The mural was a collaboration between artolution (instagram.com/artolution?igs…), a team of local artists, and the community.
Today’s second “Honorable” mention is from Trainer BAMSY9498 (@saad_bakhtiar) in Kenya 🇰🇪!
This postcard showcases the "Smiles of Resilience Mural," a vibrant public artwork with deep meaning located in Nairobi.
The mural radiates themes of joy, resilience, and harmony with nature. The prominent green-toned face smiling against a backdrop of vibrant colors symbolizes growth, hope, and environmental consciousness.
The "Smiles of Resilience Mural" is likely a work by internationally acclaimed artist Joel Bergner (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joel…), created in collaboration with local artists and the community. Bergner is known for his large-scale murals that often explore social topics and tell the stories of marginalized communities.
The creation of the mural was a collaborative effort involving eight Kenyan artists, Joel Bergner, and the local community, emphasizing a shared spirit of building a future together.
Like many of Bergner's projects through his non-profit Artolution, this mural serves as more than just a visual piece; it's a testament to strengthening mental health, promoting social inclusion, and fostering livelihoods within the community through art.
Humbled to showcase Helmets of Hope at #Expo2025 Osaka — our global art initiative supported by @Artolution & the Keep Fighting Foundation.
🎨 Artists from 11 countries — including refugees and internally displaced people — transformed helmets into powerful advocacy pieces, highlighting how road crashes impact lives everywhere, especially the most vulnerable.
🚨 Road crashes kill 1.2M people each year. Motorcyclists now make up the largest share of these deaths — yet a quality helmet can reduce the risk of death by 6x and brain injury by over 70%.
These Helmets of Hope are on a global roadshow to call for safer roads for all. 🌍💛

This is Max Frieder.
Back in 2016, he founded Artolution with buddy and fellow artist Joel Bergner.
They started with a hunger to serve war-torn communities (Syria) and the socially marginalized (Brazilian Favellas and the US).
Now, through Artolution, they have:
“✅trained and certified over 120 community artists globally,
✅ served over 10,000 participants in over 35 countries,
✅ and set up year-round programs in Uganda, Bangladesh, Jordan, Colombia and the United States, with more in the works.”
Luckily, Max will come nerd out with us this Monday, 8 PM EST.
Thanks @LiannaAdams for making the invitation and connecting us together.
Can’t wait! 😜
