Y’all should look to possibly file suit around accessibility in the workplace for legislators with a disability.

Unfortunately, Republican Leadership denied my ability to vote remotely after giving birth to my son, Sam, but that’s not stopping us from showing up to vote NO on this disastrous budget proposal.
They want to rip away health care from 400,000 CO kids, take food off the plates of seniors & veterans, and make life more expensive for hardworking Coloradans – all so they can give tax breaks to corporations and billionaires like Elon Musk.

Ski country does NOT want to be accountable for #BasicAccess on FED LANDS despite #ADA being law for 34 years.
Not angry, just sad that disabled #Veterans that sacrificed much have to fight to be treated as equals. #copolitics

Folks with disabilities are more likely to make up unhoused population BECAUSE of #ableism & lack of #basicaccess… and then to block lack of basic access in emergency safety net services is inhumane and possibly in violation of ADA & CADA. #copolitics

It’s ALWAYS a fight when we request #basicaccess ♿️ so we can participate in the same way abled bodied folks can.
It is exhausting. I have done my best in face of constant #ableism & being told “no”.

Dear Members of the PWG, Thank you for reaching out regarding the important matter of advocating for higher wages for aides in the General Assembly. However, if we are truly going to claim to be about social justice and equity, then we must have a conversation about basic access for aides and interns that live with a disability… I understand that our respective priorities may vary, however until the PWG starts including conversations about basic access in the name of true equity and access, I will be advocating in my own way. I support you in your effort to secure a livable wage and benefits that our staff clearly deserves, but your obvious blind spot is more than a little disappointing. I hope that you will also include basic access as you continue to advocate and fight for our amazing state.
