April 21, 2026 – Graduation of a group of 339 new enlisted members of the Haitian Armed Forces (FAD'H), nicknamed the "Capois La Mort" class.

As part of the priority objective to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Haitian Army, 339 new soldiers officially joined the ranks of the FAd’H this Tuesday, April 21.
In an atmosphere charged with emotion, the 339 new members of the FAD’H took an oath of allegiance, pledging to uphold the Constitution and to "serve and defend" the nation, in accordance with the Constitution and the 2015 Decree regarding the organization and functioning of the Ministry of Defense. Trained by experienced instructors and monitors, these recruits completed a rigorous basic soldier training program, which also incorporated respect for human rights, gender equity, and civil protection.
Speaking on this occasion, Colonel Neoxles P. Arné, Chief of Training & Doctrine, welcomed the new military personnel while urging them to demonstrate discipline, maturity, and a high sense of duty in order to fully shoulder the responsibilities incumbent upon them. He also extended his thanks to all those who contributed to the training of this class, while commending the growing interest among young people in a military career.

@USEmbassyHaiti) , Major Michael Rea, served as the guest of honor at the graduation ceremony and was invited to present the award plaque to the third-ranked graduate, after Brigadier General Jean Robert Gabriel presented the award to the first placed graduate and Colonel Arné to the second.
