A wrap that showed great minds ready to create solutions to phenomenal in the space, this was what Midl VibeHack. Many builders announced themselves with their creatives through this and now it is left for the community to vote alongside the judges council. This shows that @midl_xyz is on the right track as products already look surreal; such as the likes of: • Cetra: a seemless borrowing and yield optimization. • Pactus: a P2P trustless escrow system for BTC and Fiat • SouHub: a platform rewarding Midl onchain activity with reputation & tokens. • BitVote: Midl shaping-up decentralized polling platform built on Bitcoin. These are some of the wonderful products shipped and shows Midl is ready for what's to come.

Incredible energy around @midl_xyz after this VibeHack 🔥 Honestly, seeing projects like SoulHub (by Johnson Enyenih 🫵👍), BitVote, Bitcoin Escrow, and SatsProcure emerge in such a short time really shows how the $MIDL ecosystem is starting to take shape.

What happens if a #BitVote system extends past just accrued time as sole check for vote power, to user engagement with the entity raising the poll? W/ @FlareNetworks #FDC protocol, indexes for activity can be fetched from a Web2API. Attempting it w/ number of github commits.

The system wide protocol unifies block validators and entities that provide data as explained here: docs.flare.network/tech/flar… This means that staking secures both the normal blockchain part as the additional data provisioning part on top of it. The rewarding scheme (proposals.flare.network/FIP/…) requires participation in all protocols, otherwise no rewards are distributed to entity and with long staking duration this negatively impacts the entity that is not participating. The final selection of data points in each protocol is done in a stake weighted way, so small amounts of malicious stake have insignificant impact on data (weighted median for probabilistic data sources - flare.network/ftso-scaling-d…) and weighted bitvote selection for deterministic sets.

Adam wouldn’t it be cool for the world to have a voting system on blockchain? Like Bitvote.. Bitcoin solves the monetary problem, Bitvote the political.

There have been over 100 BTC forks. Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV. Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Cloud, Bitcore, Bitvote, Bitcoin Air, Big Bitcoin, Bitcoin Classic, Bitcoin Private. BSV is just another meaningless fork.
