Decline bcoz of: *Land Cost increase, Expense more on Land Allocation *Bitumen Import from Gulf, Key Raw material for Roads.

When I hear privatisation, I think freshly painted black bitumen roads, world class infrastructure, clean trains, high quality products. And when I hear nationalisation I think graffiti, dirty public transport, broken infrastructure. You probably think precisely the opposite.

Hey Jihadi ,your country Pakistan is fully aligned with USA and not India. MT Jalveer, an asphalt/bitumen tanker was sailing under the flag of Guinea-Bissau and was asked by US not to go to the Iran port .

Finland’s only active crude oil refinery, located in Porvoo and owned by Neste, has completely eliminated Russian crude. Historically dependent on Russian Urals, the refinery successfully replaced them with North Sea and US crude oils and is actively transforming into a renewable and circular solutions hub. google.com/search?q=finland … via @Google

“Finland’s Neste does not own or operate a physical oil refinery in Stockholm. Neste historically held a minority stake in the Stockholm-based bitumen and specialty oil refiner Nynas but sold its shares entirely to Bitumina Industries.”

Marsden point refined a medium sour blend from Oz & Indonesia (1) and produced 31% diesel & 3% bitumen. (2) (1) coregas.co.nz/applications/p… (2)nzic.org.nz/unsecure_files/b… Refiners charge money, & are mostly located further away than Australia & Indonesia, which is more cost.

From people who are knowledgeable in Marine Shipping indepth the following views emerged . We may be aware of the situation in the gulf in which the US bombed 3 ships onboard where Indians were present and 3 persons died in one ship. To give some ideas on the said situation -These were part of the dark fleet and sanctioned vessels. While we sympathise with loss of life and condole the unfortunate incident the fact remains that these ships should not have been there. It is like getting into the war zone as a mercenary and blaming the world for receiving the bullets. People are really not aware why 3 non-India flagged (Very Very big distinction) ships were hit by US. All three are seemingly classic shadow fleet vessels — flagged under small, low-scrutiny open registries (Palau, Guinea-Bissau),Indian crews, and carrying Iranian cargo. So, here it is and has nothing to do with India hate or being singled out All three ships were either formally sanctioned or operating within well-monitored, known shadow fleet networks long before the blockade was imposed. The US clearly had intelligence files on all the 3 ships. To give an example: MT Marivex — Most Extensively Tracked Datas show how the tanker was previously known as Arihant (IMO 9464156) and was formally sanctioned by OFAC (office of foreign assets control) in December 2025 as part of a broader crackdown on Iran’s sanctions-evasion network. The vessel had transported hundreds of thousands of barrels of Iranian fuel oil and bitumen and had been formally identified as part of Iran’s shadow fleet well before the blockade began. It had also previously sailed under the names Atlantic Voyager and Fair Artemis — classic name-cycling, a hallmark shadow fleet tactic used to evade detection. MT Settebello — Sanctioned but Still Operating The Settebello is listed as a sanctioned tanker. It had made two trips to China in March and April 2026, discharging Iranian cargo at Lianyungang port — a well-known destination for Iranian oil moving to Chinese buyers. All the three ships were operating with AIS off to avoid detection and did not heed to US Navy call to stop. USN could have sent the Marines to board the ship. But perhaps choose to hit with missiles to send a message. This will get unravelled over the days. Due to Indians being the largest maritime seafarers in the world anywhere anytime a Ship is in distress Indians would be onboard as Engineers or Masters. Lack of sensitivity Mark Rubio's response is to be called out but they are playing to their mid term audience. Govt of India @MEAIndia did what it could to focus on human angle and will continue to do so for sure. Even Modi may take it up with Trump informally. But for Commentators to suggest they were Indian Ships etc are bordering on creating a confrontation between countries. As far as sanctions are concerned let the world debate legal or illegal. However once they are in place Nations do it legally seeking waivers and don't condone the shadow fleet . Even today Royal Navy has intercepted a Russian shadow fleet as reported by @MarioNawfal @VishnuNDTV @sunandavashisht @Akshita_N @Vasudha156 @ShashiTharoor @ShivAroor @RShivshankar @BDUTT @Iyervval
