I probably wouldn't be working in this industry if it wasn't for @DanHennessy.
After I left my 9-year career at Microsoft, Dan took a chance on me and hired me to launch
@BlockFiSupport. A couple months into that role, their social media manager left to start their own company and I eventually took the main @BlockFi handle over.
We experienced plenty of ups and downs while at BlockFi. Some highlights include the launch of the Bitcoin rewards credit card, including documenting dozens of users taking selfies with #BlockFiCard billboards across the US, growing a loyal community on our subreddit, and RTing (then subsequently redacting) a few users who started receiving multi-BTC rewards before we discovered it was a system error 😂
Dan was exactly what you wanted from a creative director. He asked the right questions to inspire new ideas, was hands-on when you needed him to be, but also trusted you enough to give you space to do things in your own way.
After our team was laid off, Dan even helped me get my foot in the door at Trust Machines.

Hi Ben! Most withdrawals are processed on the next business day after clearing any security holds. If you're a #BlockFiCard holder, the fee you pay to withdraw BTC will be reimbursed next month!
