During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with local residents and discussed various needs and concerns of the villagers. He assured the people that the Government of India is fully committed to the holistic development of border villages under the leadership of Prime Minister @narendramodi. Highlighting the government’s vision for border area development, the Lieutenant Governor said that every village deserves all-weather road connectivity, modern educational institutions and better opportunities for the youth. He stated that the administration is working with dedication to transform Kupwara’s border villages into model villages in the post-2019 era. He further emphasized that sustained efforts are being made to improve infrastructure, public services and livelihood opportunities in remote areas to ensure inclusive growth and prosperity for the people living along the borders.
