I havent really left the house much since 2016, but last week I was on a long car journey, it was shocking the amount of litter in the verges. It never used to be like that.

I do that in cafes etc !

But then, it's probably me who is weird, because if I'm in a store and waiting for someone to try on clothes for example, then I usually end up picking items from the floor which staff members ignore...! 🤣 How sad am I?!

The thing is , people have stopped caring because they have been watching the government trash the country, and trash their lives for too long now. And now everyone is too tired with coping and scratching a living to care any more. It's a sign of a country that is collapsing...

Agreed. It’s like living in a skip. Needs to be a public campaign that in this country dropping litter is not acceptable.

The UK is in longterm decline. Austerity had an unforseen consequence. The erosion of authorities Government, Local authorities, police, courts have all been damaged. This is one of the consequences.
