On the occasion of upcoming #EnvironmentDay on the 5th of June, this open public interaction was organised with all the groups and individual citizens who are actively working on civic issues and environmental concerns of Pune. I spoke for @VTBKS_Pune on #VetalTekdi challenges and updates, and how the road projects planned on the tekdi should be deleted from the DP. Pune is suffering because of failing governance by @PMCPune and state government. Much of the #citizenactivism today is due to this failure. But citizens fall weak in many ways- lack of resources , know-how of the system, accessibility and availability of data etc. This knowledge-sharing was to address this gap and was the first of its kind.
