🚀 #ContentCredentials now live in @WebBadge 🙏 Bringing @C2PA_org into the identity trust layer: 🔎 Inspect credentials ☑️ Verify independently (e.g., @Adobe tools) 🔀 Trust signals adapt across relationships Turning trust from assumed → verifiable, with 🖼️✅ @ContentAuth 👏

Pleased to make this official. Apertrue has joined @C2PA_org, alongside the likes of Adobe, Microsoft, Sony, OpenAI and the BBC. We're bringing zero-knowledge proofs to Content Credentials (@ContentAuth), proving content is authentic without exposing who, where, when, or with what. Built in @NoirLang, settling on @aztecnetwork. Authenticity without surveillance. ƒ/∞

Adobe @ContentAuth is again misleading regulators while promoting the CREATOR Act, claiming C2PA can signal artists’ TDM preferences (Text/Training and Data Mining). blog.adobe.com/en/publish/20… @C2PA_org explicitly clarified to an EU consultation that it cannot.

It took 5 months for @Adobe @ContentAuth to take action on a severity "High" "Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability." affecting their C2PA verifier. The "attacker" was @GeminiApp bloated C2PA. Because, you know, C2PA is "interoperable". nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/cve…

It only took two whole months before someone finally create an issue that @Google C2PA implementations are basically DoS‑ing the official @Adobe @ContentAuth @C2PAorg validators. github.com/contentauth/c2pa-…

@bafuchen will be speaking at the Online Trust & Safety (OTS) Forum 2026 on 12 May 2026 at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore. The OTS Forum brings together global thought leaders on policy, technology, and education for safer online spaces. This year's edition features the Content Authenticity Summit 2026, co-organised with @contentauth and supported by @c2pa_org Bofu will join international policymakers, platforms, and implementers to explore how provenance technologies and transparency standards can build long-term trust in the AI era where Numbers has been building practical, interoperable infrastructure.

Provenance! 💯 We are with @FactProtocol, who is also a member of the provenance standards organization @ContentAuth, working on AI-provenance. It's a need of the hour, tbh.

It’s crazy how this felt so far away just a couple years ago. Gotta get on that @ContentAuth in live video.

EU is the market where “provenance by default” is becoming a competitive moat. @Fairpicture_ (based in EU) is building an ethical media supply chain: - Consent Verified: Legal permission is cryptographically bound to the file. - Origin Traceable: The entire history is on-chain. - EU Compliant: Ready for the strictest data governance laws in the world. They’ve even collaborated with @WHO and @Oxfam on upgrading how consent is handled at scale. Now add C2PA, the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity. C2PA “Content Credentials” is the open standard for packaging provenance within the file (who/when/how it was created edits), and it's signed so tampering is detectable. Our partnership with @ContentAuth and Fairpicture turns photos/videos into verifiable assets: Images embeds C2PA provenance and anchors a corresponding, append-only record on Numbers blockchain. If a platform strips metadata during reposts, the on-chain index still preserves the audit trail. The EU AI Act is rolling out in phases (in force since Aug 2024; wider application from Aug 2, 2026, with earlier obligations in 2025 and further changes proposed). Expect procurement to start asking for provable origin usage trails, not screenshots. Building Provenance is not only about verifying art. Together, we are building the Ethical Data Supply Chain that the AI industry legally needs to operate. This is what "Real World Asset" adoption looks like.
When we talk about "Ethical Media," we aren't talking about aesthetics. We’re talking about verification pipelines. Our partner @Fairpicture_ solves a critical engineering challenge in the media supply chain: preserving "Context" and "Consent" from the moment of capture to the final publication. The Integration Challenge: NGOs and brands need images that are ethically sourced. But as files move through servers, CRMs, and editing tools, critical metadata (who took this? did the subject consent?) gets stripped or overwritten. The Solution - Fairpicture integrates Numbers Protocol to "hard-bind" this data to the asset. Capture: Local photographers use tools where consent forms are digitally linked to the image file at the source. C2PA Numbers: This metadata isn't just a text tag; it is cryptographically signed and registered on the Numbers blockchain. Result: A "Fair Picture" isn't just a photo; it's a verifiable asset class where the history is queryable. This demonstrates the power of the Capture SDK. It transforms a standard image upload into a provenance commitment, write the integrity record on blockchain. This effectively turns a jpeg into a trusted real world asset capable of carrying its own legal and ethical history across the web. See the case study: numbersprotocol.io/blog/fair…
